None of the above really. GTs damage will hopefully be better.

The one thing from NFS I would like is the engine sounds though.

But not from ProStreet and even there you can say, dont use NFS sounds, use real recordings, uncompressed.

Well I don't want them to use the actual sounds they did but maybe some of the methods as the NFS sounds have been more realistic to my ear. Go out and record the sounds of the car underload if you want it done properly.

Need For Speed (EA) is not the originator of these sort of features.

I will not dignify EA & Need For Rice/Ruining A Classic Racing Series For The Sake Of Money by voting in this poll. Pro Street sucked (_|_), so did Underground 1 & 2, and Undercover.

Why is there so much hate for body kits/paint editing?
If you could modify any car you could would you really keep the outside stock except rims and a mismatched wing?

Obviously I don't want auto sculpt but licensed body kits and a paint editor would take the game to a new level. That and the fact it is really the only thing Forza has over the GT series.

If anything, GT should be looking at Shift, not anything from past NFS titles.

I agree with McLaren. Shift is probably going to be the most serious NFS game ever. It will bring some dignity back to the franchise.

I may get run over for saying this but in my oppinion GT5 would benefit by adopting a similar tuning system to forza 2, yallz may not like it but I do.

After defending GT my whole life, i will say that GT MUST take a look at the new NFS Shift. Why?? Because Shift is now offering some really good tuning options. And for me.. and i guess for other GT fans out there. Tuning is a must in a simulator game. (otherwise is just another arcade game.) And the fact that you can tune your engine and your aero-parts just put NFS Shift now on top of my list.

Don`t get me wrong GT 5 is still my number one game.. but im more exiting right now to get NFS Shift that im looking forward on GT5.

Agreed..... The one thing that has (personally) held back GT was that there was little to no customization.... But i dont think GT5 should be like prostreet, i think PD should pick up on the performance and visual modification aspects of Forza Motorsport 2... i like the ability to install real aftermarket body kits made just for the car i was customizing, or paint up the car any way i wanted to.... then take my creation and put it in an endurance race or whatever and see it get dirty.... Thats where i hope PD will go for GT5... but with the same brilliant physics that are in GT5p

You could do that in GT4 and I assume GT5 will extend that. I have been following NFS SHIFT but I must have missed the rest of the tuning options they announced?

I do believe the GT series has always lacked in the customization area but, with GT5 I think that, we will get aftermarket aero kits maybe a few to start with, and more to come with DLC. The reason why I say that is because, in an interview they said they model the cars part by part which could then lead to interchangeble parts eg. Front/rear bumpers, spoilers and side skirts.

I'm not really fussed about a livery editor, sure it would be nice but I don't think I will spend a lot of time using it. I would be happy with just an option so that I can change the colour of the car without having to buy it again, that is the only real thing I find annoying about previous games.

It depends on what you mean. GT4 offers a few more options in one area than Fm2 and vice versa. If you mean the ability to tweak just about everything, neither one does that. If you mean having tunes you name, such as "R34Nurb," and as many as you want, that I'd agree with. But I expect both sequels to offer more tuning options. Remember that the system in Prologue is called "Quick Tune."

i would just like to have tire smoke like in pro street or better cuz gts tire smoke is funny and not very realistic imo

I wish that they won't take anything from NFS-series, and keep the game themselves UNTIL IT'S COMPLETE, so we can avoid the update/pacth/version hassle of Forza and the likes..

Absolutely not!!!
Gran Turismo is in a class of its own and for it to take aspects of other games especially the ever sucking NFS series would make the game horrible.

I wouldn't go that far but I think gran turismo should stay as it is and that need for speed pro street sucks lol.
