I think we need some heavy-duty diesel and dually pickups.
Yes, definitely. We need at least 25 trucks, and at least 30 SUVs.
And wagons and shooting brakes.
As long as they're all premium, I say, why not? The more diverse the car list is, the better.
Should more pickups be featured in GT6

I honestly don't care which or how many types of automobile or racing series are added to the game, as long as there are plenty of events to compete in with them.
But don't give me 30 trucks, and just one stinkin' 3 race Truck Race event with 2 laps per race that's gonna take me 1 truck and 5 minutes to do. That's just a waste
I second that.
Maybe I'm strange but the events available in the game have absolutely no effect on whether I make use of a vehicle, if I like it I'll find a use for it no matter what (by which I mean I'll drive them anyway without them being significant other than providing me driving pleasure), so any addition with no merit at all for the purpose of game progression isn't regarded by me as a waste at all.
Yes and no. Most generally no, the event selection doesn't matter, free running a vehicle is valid. However if you don't play online and like to progress in GT Mode, it might be a problem.
I really hope that PD allows us to create races and championships online and offline in GT6.
An event generator would solve a lot and seems a relatively easy thing to implement and I didn't mean that events in general shouldn't be as diverse (and signifcant) as the variety of cars on offer.
But even when it isn't (like it currently is) I still enjoy the cars for what they offer, even when they are useless for progress.
The events included are mostly mindnumbingly dull anyway (and always have been like that for the most part to be honest) as even in GT4, without online, I still enjoyed driving a lot of cars without racing them.
I'd prefer a more comprehensive course maker tool offering more options and themes over more A-Spec events right now to be honest.
But some might indeed only think of the cars included as racing tools foremost which must have a use as otherwise they shouldn't have even bothered including them, I'm not one of them though.

That's not saying I wouldn't like all cars to be useful in A-Spec races or at least the vast majority (or that the entire A-Spec doesn't need a complete overhaul) but it isn't a strict (or any) requirement for me to appreciate the cars themselves.
Furthermore, I hardly use A-Spec anymore after completing it.
I was just trying to give another point of view.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still use the vehicles on free runs and what not. When I say waste, I mean a waste due to a lack of potentially good events, not the vehicles themselves. I just like a decent event list to go through, it gives me a sense of progression.
analogThat I'll agree with though, it's not just the A-Spec events but I'm even more surprised that PD doesn't make more use of the Seasonal Events to include the less obvious or often overlooked cars, instead a lot of it is nothing more than a carbon copy online A-Spec with better rewards.
