On today's episode of ghetto race cars:
1. A widebody track day/racing build of the Viper SRT-10 with a livery inspired by the ACR-X, which is my favourite Viper variant. I think this paint scheme just looks so nice considering how simple it is, and I think the additional factory-style sponsors fill out the design nicely.
Also wanted to mention the SRT-10 with a racing exhaust might be the best sounding car in the game period. It's mean, that's all I'll say about it in case you haven't given it a listen yet. The car itself is very light with very little in the way of power mods, but it glides around corners thanks to the massive aero and slick tires.
2. A DeLorean DMC-12 (S2) race modified/touring car build, using a livery from a race-modified AE86 from Project CARS. This was a very fun car to make, and at around 620PP it drives surprisingly well considering it's a DeLorean. Unfortunately I don't think it's quite good enough even fully tuned to take on Gr.4 cars, but it's a decent entry into my tuned car collection.
Only gripe is the car's sound even with a racing exhaust is kind of pathetic. But at least it looks like a cool 80's Group B racing car or something now.
3. A Gr.4 variant of the Mercedes-AMG C63S. I really love the way this car looks painted up in an Ohlins livery with a very vibrant yellow (again sourced from Project CARS). The car is tuned to Gr.4 specs and it runs decently well against the AI, but it's kind of a pig in the slower corners still despite some weight reduction. The car makes up for it though with some good straight-line performance.
