I wanted one with the big 8 inch and Bose plus the NPP exhaust and a stick but the one in stock has NPP and auto but it's GREEEEN ❤️. I'm also taking that LT1 badge off so I can go full stealth mode and kids don't try to egg me on.

Got an Xbox One X (Gears 5 bundle, 1TB) this morning on a whim. It was on sale and I am sick and tired of my regular old Xbox One randomly turning on without me touching it. Dunno why this happened, but it forced me to unplug the thing all the time. Worth upgrading to a new console if you ask me.

Also, I have a 4K TV that I can now put to good use. 👍

Think I may also get a PS4 Pro for the hell of it too.

I had to order a new HDD for my Xbox One because it corrupted when installing Modern Warfare. I didn't feel like going through it and removing the corrupted data, partitioning, yada, so I'm going to dock the old one and wipe it. I might sell it or turn it into a SATA-USB.

Oddly enough, my insurance (primary) has been the one balking at paying for meds but approved the vest almost immediately. Her insurance (secondary) rejected it. When asked why, they started reciting the policy, which she demanded a copy of. One line in particular that we have a MAJOR problem with is the patient must have a "productive cough" (ie - coughing up goo from the lungs) for at least 3 months. He hasn't had, thankfully, a productive cough for a few years and even when he did, it was usually cold related. So basically for them to cover it, he'd have to get sick first. Which is 🤬 ridiculous, obviously.

And how much is their portion of it? A staggering $500 so we ended up just paying it out of pocket.

Got my first pair of true wireless earbuds today. Spent the past two weeks researching trying to find a pair that would sound good and not be super expensive. Finally settled on these. The iFrogz Airtime Pro.

Well decided to gift these to my little brother for Christmas because I could never get them to seal good in my right ear. The biggest tips they come with are just the tiniest bit too small for my right ear.

So then I started looking at Gen 1 Apple AirPods since Apple EarPods fit me pretty good. You can find used pairs on eBay for around half price. So that’s what I did.

They work and fit perfectly. Been wearing them constantly the past few days. The glossy finish of the case was all scratched up and there were a couple of dings from where the previous owner dropped it. So I bought a vinyl skin from DBrand to cover it.

Nice. I bought that Pokemon Lite with Luigi’s Mansion before Black Friday as it seemed a good deal. I had ordered the Steelbook Pokemon Sword and Shield edition with the mini statue of the starter Pokemon which arrived on day of release.

Went on a small buying spree the last month for some reason...

• Two Blipshift shirts thanks to a recent sale. Spent the extra for the higher quality material and was immediately happy for it when I opened the package yesterday. Some of the softest tees I own, plus the fit and drape is perfect.
• Sweater and purple tee from Simons, a department store that started in Quebec. Needed more winter sweaters and this one won out over a more Christmas-themed one for sheer versatility. Not pictured: a plain white tee, because these ones are also great (and cheap).
• Ted Baker pants from a warehouse sale. Old merchandise, but something like 80–90 percent off, so $20. Got another similar pair in blue, for office work.

Not pictured: two pairs of Uniqlo HeatTech long johns for an upcoming trip.

Oh, and this, because as predicted it dropped a bunch this week, enough to consider trying it:

Buff snowman is the sort of gritty Frosty reboot I am so here for.

New toy: iPhone 11 Pro Max 256GB. Dealt with Black Friday crowds to get this, since I had a bunch of perks from my provider. Retired the 7 Plus, which served me well, but the improved camera, specifically the low-light stuff, sold me on the new one. I’ll get to test it thoroughly this week though! Getting used to not having a home button.

Also pictured is a sticker I got with those Blipshift shirts, which will soon find its way onto the work laptop.
