We needed a new bed. Our old one was an 11 years old Ikea one. It really wasn’t cutting the mustard any more.

so enter...

An Ercol frame with Sonmus Herritage mattress. We also picked up the quilt too, this is a silk filled one and is a split quilt so if you want to you can have it as Summer, Winter and those awkward months when it’s not hot but not freezing. Size is a UK Superking.

Prices for parts have already started rising up, I decided to bite the bullet now rather than wait it out.
I absolutely do not regret buying the 1600 AF. That by far was the best purchase I've made recently. Even on my horrible board (MSI B450 Pro M2) the thing runs like an absolute champ.

I'm going to be upgrading from my i5 4460, I can't wait. It's served me well for the last few years, but it's been bottlenecking me badly recently.

A mate of mine said he was willing to give me his old 2700X cooler for free too, so I can do some moderate overclocking if I want to. :D

I just bought Affinity Photo. Months back, I got Designer while it was on sale and thought it was fantastic. So, I figured that I should buy the Photo software too. Now was a good time since it was on sale for $25, that's way cheaper than paying for Photoshop.

After many years of buying super cheap chairs that are either uncomfortable or fall apart within a year I finally decided to spend up to the middle ground, so I got myself a chair that's comfortable and durable instead of one or the other.

Its nice to have a place to call home. The last place we were in two years, had a kid and it was no longer big enough. I never really got to "decompress" into the place. Here we have no intentions of moving for the next couple of decades. I'm looking forward to this.

Nice! I would like to live on a more sizable piece of property.

I know how much you've been hoping for this. I hope all is well, and congratulations! This made me smile. :D

You have your own cross roads on the property! You can walk there and sell your soul to the devil all without leaving sight of your house! :D

Some amount of acreage above 1 was a necessity, as well as a pole barn. We might have the opportunity to get some more from the neighbor too. We wanted a place that we could make self sufficient and "off the grid". We have a wood boiler we can use to heat the house and pur water. We are looking into solar and a battery wall. Gonna get a garden planted, likely next year. Its something we wanted to do for while, but after this covid event we doubled down on that.

Thanks kolio! We were worried that we were going to have to compromise on our wants. We were finding great houses on crappy land or great land with houses that pretty much needed to be demoed. When we did find a house and land we liked, they either accepted bids before we could go see them or we got out bid. We lucked out here and found this place through a coworker before it was listed. Believe you me, we are smiling too.
I call dibs on moving into your garage.
Sure, first you gotta find it, rent is 500 a month, and you will have to cohabit with my tools and cars.

Its a full loop even, so I can sell my soul to the devil and bargain it back from the heavens.

Damn, you might just be able to stitch up that mofo and get away with it.

If not, consult thy fellow member, we’ve been on pretty good terms recently.

Ordered the new Run The Jewels LP via music local shop. However bagged the official Hoodie direct.

Unzip files here.

Have fun lawning the mow.
Still so many files to go! Part three should be done by next weekend. Then I need to defrag.
As for mowing. I got one of these.

Takes about as long as it did at our last place, but far, far less pushing and far, far less sweat. I do need to do something for the control levers though, they are a bit to short and far away for a comfortable seating position. Also, as part of what I am mowing is going to be groomed for a little dirt kart track, it is pretty fun to mow. At least that area.

Decided to spend up on a dash cam and get something that won't overheat and burnout after a couple years like my last two.

Also got some new floor mats

By the time I realized I ordered them for the Challenger it was too late, and I didn't want to let them go to waste, so I bought one.
