I'd say that's not bad. FWIW, Amazon has the generic 2TB portable Seagate on sale for $60 right now.. Bestbuy currently has 2TB Seagate game drives on sale for $69.99 (USD). Would this be a good purchase?
Not matter what, I'd say that getting some kind of portable drive is a good idea. With how big games are getting, 512GB is kinda at the point where it may not be enough if you're planning on having a healthy number of games (the FH5 pre-install is around 112GB, for reference). I believe the only downside is that you can't play dedicated Xbox Series S/X games off the drive, and that they have to be installed in the systems internal memory for them to run. And Seagate, as far as I understand (it's the only brand I've used) tends to make the best overall product.
