FIFA 10 for the PS3, it was between this and the World Cup game. I figured I could get more play out of this.

Any major difference between this & the World Cup one? I'm interested in a new soccer game, but I've heard World Cup updates a few more things over Fifa 10.

Everything I've read said that the FIFA game is better then the World Cup game and is far less clunky. Plus you get more teams and what not with the FIFA game obviously. I'm sure the World Cup game is good but all you do is win the World Cup and nothing else.

The world cup game lacks the ability to play as a club team, manager mode and Ultimate team mode, but has nearly 100 scenario's from qualifying for the world cup. Some in real time. It also has scenario's from the previous world cup including the final from after Zlatan got sent off for both France and Italy in real time.
There is also scenario updates from the world cup when it starts.


In terms of game play, 'I own both' the world cup game is miles ahead. The step up is massive. Defenders are much smarter and glitches from 10 have been filtered out.

You have the ability to play as your team from the start of world cup qualifiers including friendly's. This adds up to 30 odd games including the world cup so there's enough to make a season out of it. Scenario's will also keep you going.


There is enough content in this game to warrant buying it over Fifa 10. I'd rather buy this and then buy Fifa 11 in 4 months time. This will keep you going until then.

I bought some baseball cards from the local card shop. The new 2010 Bowmans came in yesterday, so I got a few packs. I also bought an unopened pack of 1991 Upper Deck cards. The guy has a few more '91, and I may buy em. There may be some valuable rookies and draft pick cards, so at $.25 a pack, it's unpassable!

Other than lack of Flash support at this time, we are both loving it!!! It is by far the funnest way I have browsed the net. Depending on your needs, it may, or may not be for you.

Needed a new headset for ventrilo as my buddies have started to complain about the quality of my current one as it is getting up there in age now.

$20 and has great reviews.

But then I decided I haven't bought music in awhile... So hehe I went on a little spree.

I already 'have' these albums on my iTunes but figured since they are all so freakin' amazing that they will be money well spent.

OEM Pricing. $849 I think. Student pricing would be sick, but it was for work and needed a audit-able copy so the Student Edition wouldn't work for me.

I FINALLY got to get rid of my wife's old clunker (got 24mpg so couldn't get cash for clunkers :/) and bought a 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid. I'll use the Hybrid for commuting about 40 miles a day and my wife will drive our Element for her 12 miles a day. We got a silver one exactly like this:

I'll probably be picking up a bluetooth kit for it so I can use my DROID to take calls when driving since I'm on call 24/7 for work since we passed that stupid law of no talking on cell phones in Oregon...I won't get started on that crap. But my hope is that I can use the Aux. audio port for my iPod with my phone connected to the car via bluetooth and if I'm playing music on my ipod and my phone rings, the music will stop so I can take the call using the already built in speaker (I can already use the speaker if I plug my DROID into the aux audio port).

What you are trying to do can be totally achieved! Hands free talking is the way to go.
