Unless you're driving around Indianapolis...

I'm interested in how often you guys change tires. I usually always start looking for new ones around the 12,000mile mark. If not before.

Well I've actually never worn out a set of tires...Never needed to change them on my Grand Am, I didn't have it long enough to wear them out. My Michelins that came on my Civic came off because I bought Dunlop Star Specs, and they will go back on for the winter. They're far from worn. The Star Specs have like 4k on them, maybe, and still look really good.

The first baseball game I've been to in a few years and the first ever for the kids. Sadly the Redhawks lost 4-3 in the 10th but the fireworks at the end were outstanding.

I love when Steam has sales. Just grabbed this:

I figured I'd never end up buying them for console, and shops never have sales like that, so. . .

You're doing it wrong.

Haha. I don't have the opportunity to go autocross around here, really. Though I am going to an event on July 11th and should be running it there.

Edit: And that steam deal looks pretty damn good. Might go grab that myself in a minute.

International Cricket Captain 2010 :) (I can hear your glee, Sureboss :P)

edit: Nige, is there any way I can force the game to run in 1080p fullscreen and not 1024x768?

^^ yum!
I will soon be getting the Cheat Codes for TOCA Race Driver 3 (or V8 Supercars in my part of the world). It's only $6.50 and you get R/C and Slot Cars! :dopey:

So I bought that CodeMasters Racing Pack, and somehow Toca 3 is on my list of downloads as well. Anyone else get that thrown in somehow?

I've been struggling with myself trying not to buy anything on Steam during this sale, since I've already bought 3 games this month, but it's hard. Thought of getting L4D2 but so far I'm managing to control myself.

I've got those racing games last Christmas, if you guys feel like having a GTP multiplayer section with any of those feel free to add me on Steam. The link to my profile is in my sig.

Just got Left 4 Dead 2 for $10 on Steam.

Is it good? Toying with the idea of buying it as it's only 6 quid.
Edit: Bought! Friends said go for it. Installing now!

Haven't installed it yet. I'm waiting for a wireless card for my new computer. After I moved it to its final location, I realized that I would have to run cables across my room or get an adapter. I chose the adapter.

It's still downloading.... Too slowly.
Been on for ages and its only about 50% :(

Hm. I'm pretty sure it didn't list it when I bought it. Oh well! I did have it for PS2 anyway.
Yeah, it's not listed but it is part of the pack; when that pack was originally on special on Steam it did list Toca 3 as an included game. No idea why it doesn't list it any more, if it's still in the pack :P

More purchases:
Logitech G27 :dopey: Came to NZ$462.69 inc. GST and shipping :ouch:
Replacement iLuv iPod controller earphone dongle thingy - my original one (that I bought when the standard Apple earbuds died... about three weeks after I got my touch. Fail.) started dying a week or so ago; if the cable at the iPod end was bent in a certain way it would cut sound to one earphone, so as long as I kept the cable straight it would work fine (easier said than done when your iPod's in your pocket!). Ironically when I was on my way to the electronics store to buy a replacement adapter, it finally gave up the ghost.
El cheapo $20 pair of noise-isolating canals, to replace the garbage pair of earbuds I also bought when the Apple 'buds kicked the bucket. These ones seem to have slightly better bass (then again they do have a marginally better frequency response than my previous buds).

But now I really am broke. :(

I’m fairly new to the world of RPG’s but having heard a lot of great reviews about it, I decided to pick up Dragon Age: Origins yesterday. Very happy with this purchase, I can foresee many sleepless nights.

Been wheelin' and dealin' stuff on eBay and got enough dough for this:

Will go great next to my Uncanny X-Men #1 and Fantastic Four #48 that Stan signed at this years Emerald City Comicon....gonna have to put my Walking Dead #1 9.8 with a Kirkman sig somewhere else now

Actually, I just undid the need for the adapter because I found out that there was a huge slack of coaxial cable in the corner of my room. So instead of running ethernet across my room I just ran the coax along the wall around my bed and to my desk where I plugged in the modem and router. Works pretty well, except for the annoying blinking crap that's now in my face.

Oh well... for 27 bucks I got a free bluetooth dongle thingy, and I suppose it'll come in handy for when I have to go away if I can't hook up to the wall like I have here.

I'm enjoying two new purchases simultaneously right now:
