OMG, I spent an obscene amount of money today.

Firstly, I've ordered a replacement Sky HD box, only with a 2TB hard drive.

Secondly, my search for a new AV amp/speaker system reached its zenith, so I've ordered this:

The images aren't to scale, by the way. The mid-bass drivers are the same size in all speakers.

Due for delivery on Friday. Now I've just to get the installation sorted!

Very nice! I do fear for your neighbours' sanity though! 👍

Excellent company. Didn't know you could get 2TB Sky HD boxes, that's not direct from Sky, is it?

Don't think you can i only left sky at the start of december (moved to work for the company owned by the guy with the dodgy beard and a F1 team) and the biggest was the 1.5tb box although you could only record on 1tb of it.

Looks awesome next to my DBR9, it's just a shame I haven't got anywhere to display them out of their boxes yet. :indiff:

It was for my birthday, but I'm paying for some of it... Lets hope I don't turn into a fan boy spammer :scared:

No, it's from a company called TPS. It's configured so that 500GB is reserved for Sky Anytime, and 1.5TB for recordings. It'll be a big improvement from the 160GB in our current box.

Did yours YLOD again, or were you just getting prepared?
It's still alive and well, but since I have yet to hear of a permanent lasting heat gun fix I bought a new one to switch out while the old one was still alive enough to perform a data transfer. Then I get to put the old one in the bedroom as a movie machine for Blu-Ray and Netflix.

PSP GO

For 79€, plus the 10 free games thingy, I just couldn't pass on it...

EDIT:

Oh, and this for the girlfriend:

Just bought a family pass (2 dads and 3 kids... ) to see the Fort William Round of the mountain bike world cup.
And I just booked the campsite at a much more reasonable price than the first one we were going to go with.
Great success!

Soon to be bought are a new cassette for the bike:

And a new FSA headset:

Subs? Whats your TV?

The sub is retained from the current system. It's a B&W PV-1. The TV (currently in its box) is a Sony KDL-52HX903 52" 3D LCD. It's in this thread earlier on - I bought it in November, but I've not put it up yet as I'm having a custom installation done.

Just a few parts to upgrade my old base my new PC on.

Good choice for the hard drive (Samsung F3 1TB for those who have no idea what it is), I have two in my computer and couldn't be happier with them 👍

I also have that same type of RAM, what specific version did you get? My 1600C7s aren't stable at the default timings

Mind you, if you had a picture taken of that dude, I'm sure your girlfriend would totally do whatever you request from her for quite some time...

Ohh... Emm... Gee...
I bought that RAM recently as well but I think it is the 1600C9. I've not had any trouble so far. You must be noob. 👍
:D

This endless lust for bike bits is getting dangerous now. I think I have an addiction :P
Just bought a new chain ring; an e-Thirteen outer ring bolt set so that I can finally put my bash ring on(4 chainring bolts for 15 quid... They are having a laugh charging that) ; and a parktools chainring nut wrench (Ooo err) to aid me in my chainring bolt fitting.

🤬 you Chain Reaction Cycles.
