I feel slightly violated on the price of the smart cover, but with our lot it's pretty much mandatory.

Orange do some really nice tarrifs for ultra-low use. And if she's out & about, with no Orange signal, I can use the Personal Hotspot on my iPhone to tether it.

Uh, of course! But these have a part in the bottom that collects the extremely small, ground up, herbs and residue that make for amazing use as a... seasoning.
