I have been interested in getting a new pair of headphones for both movie watching and gaming for late night sessions so I wont disturb the family, but I have not been terribly impressed with any of them until now.

I got a great deal on them off Amazon, and can highly recommend them to anyone looking for high quality surround sound headphones, and as a bonus it includes a detachable programmable blu-tooth mic for chatting and even as a headset for my phone so I can pause the game or movie and use the headphones to answer the incoming call. 👍

It has an Intel Core i3 processor, 2GB of DDR3 RAM, a 320GB HDD, bluetooth, HDMI port, and Windows 7 Home Basic. Pretty good for its price.

Don't judge me...

Yeah sure, I'm getting a little old to be collecting Pokemon cards... soon I'll be entering borderline pedophile area.

But with the advent of of Pokemon TCG Online, I can't resist starting up a collection again. :D

At least go with M:TG :indiff:

I don't like the way MTG Online operates. Last time I checked, you can buy physical cards or virtual cards, but buying one doesn't get you the other. You can convert your virtual cards to real cards, but not the other way around. And by doing so, you lose the ability to use them online.

I much prefer the way Pokemon TCG online operates. Buy the physical cards, get a code to obtain access to the virtual versions of those cards as well.

Oh, that must make my opinion completely invalid then, as a guy that played CCGs before Pokemon existed...

M:TG, generally speaking, is a more developed game with more depth. Pokemon more or less is a stripped and skinned version of M:TG that was designed for younger players; I just never found it as satisfying to play.

Wait, wait, wait. There is a Pokemon TCG online? I must play this.

I'll hit you through the Internet, I will.

The online play isn't up and running just yet, but you can hone your skills against some AI opponents. :)

Don't get me wrong, I like Magic: The Gathering. But I like the Pokemon TCG just as well, even if it is simpler in some ways. And I'm not gonna buy cards twice just so I can have both the physical and virtual versions, so M:TG loses.

Certainly cheaper than where I went with my hobby gaming - Warhammer 40,000.

As for the online/offline stuff, it must just be how Wizards is handling it versus Nintendo. Honestly, I've lost a lot of faith in Wizards of the Coast with how they've been handling M:TG over the past couple of years. More so because new players gripe on me for using the very, very old school terms and setups (I started playing in '94) because they've streamlined the system and simplified a lot of the cards.
