How are you liking the Motorola Droid Razr? I am still trying to decide on which phone to upgrade to from the Motorola Droid.
So far I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. It's got gobs of power so it hasn't even lagged slightly no matter what I've done(Not even when playing Minecraft with a couple downloads going in the background). Battery life is good for such a large and powerful device, I think the OLEDs help a little, it's still a daily charge, but unless you're going heavy on the gaming it should last a whole day. Camera quality, front and back, is very good; some focus problems on the main camera, but a well focused shot looks great. Voice quality is great and it maintains a 4G connection in places my old phone couldn't get one at all.

It even streams Netflix. Fairly sure that's only been available on very few recent 4G phones.

I really can't think of anything bad to say about it.

Gorilla glass is nice for scratches and scuffs but with bigger screen phones, it's the LCD underneath that goes pretty easily.

RAZRs got a Super AMOLED display. So I don't think that's a problem.

Which brings me to my next point about the phone. The display is gorgeous. The darks are extremely well defined and the colors are very vibrant thanks to those LEDs.

Anyway, on topic; bought this:

$50-Mom's Christmas present; she's an Angry Bird fanatic.

And another one of those Otter Box cases for my sister's Christmas present. Just found out she's getting a RAZR from my parents, and she loved the case.

Old stuff coming in! Super bargain that I bought 2 of each of those except for the very right one because that one has got no stock left and that's the last one they had. Total? MYR70. I don't think I could get that price anywhere else!

Also my dad just bought me a Timberland Shoes when he was out. I don't have the picture but it looks so good, even better when wearing it! 👍

My suggestions would be that Razr, the Galaxy S II, or the Galaxy Nexus. All top notch phones with fantastic reviews and amazing power. Getting your hands on them is the bigger issue.

I bought Civ V Game of the Year Edition. $16 on Steam today. My picture isn't working but not the most exciting thing either. I am cut off from games now. God I have far too much to play and far too much homework.

That's epic!

Can't afford a new Merc at present so a good condition old one has to do for now.

one day I'll get my hands on a C63.... one day....

 Must. Have. One.
That's epic!

It contains 15 single biscuits, but still it is a good gift for the chocoholic family/friend for christmas and what not.

Woolworths/Safeway has them for $10.

Still have the pug as my daily to the office and home. This is replacing the Camry that was used as more of a family car to transport the kids in.

I would have thought the french car finally fell apart.

Which year of C63 are you after?

Thanks for the tip on the Tim Tams. I'm totally going to be in the good books with my wife when I come home with one of those tomorrow after work. 👍

The pug is pretty good actually. Almost entirely free of problems in the past 5 or so years it's been in my care. And naturally the latest model C63 would be nice, however my budget simply won't stretch for a new merc at present.

As much as I would love a 205 GTi, I can't see how the Pug outlasted the Camry. That thing must be bullet proof! :P

My car is doing the same, checking it before trips between here and Wagga show that apart from petrol and wiper water, it hasn't lost a drop of anything. Returned 5.7L per 100km combined on my last trip up shortly after a service, with a fully packed car, which amounts to less than half a tank.

It's Cyber Monday for the Americas.... show me the money, people

I had a quick look at a few stores and they didn't sell anything I really wanted.

Picked up a AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G today. First shot I took with it at the camera shop told me it was a must buy. Also got a UV filter for it. I think with each purchase for my camera a new memory card is in order, they fill up quick!

I'm quickly becoming a fan of bokeh. :)

Might have rescued this off ebay.

And may have sold my D40 to pay for it. Which was probably a bit of a silly long term decision. In my defence though I did want something with live view, and it's handily smaller & lighter.

I do love it a little bit.

I can see how cameras can be an addiction.

edit: I returned the 55-300mm lens I bought a couple weeks ago. I thought it's focus was a bit slow for my needs and will probably go with the 70-300mm. If I do decide to get another 55-300, it's $150 bucks cheaper at target.com than best buy. :sly:

Great lens, bought it right when it came out this year - yet, keep the UV filter away from it. A prime lens, especially this one, doesn't really need it. :)

Should've bought it a year ago instead of 1 year only.
