👍 Nice.

^Agreed as well. Love it.

Finally got around to picking up another camera after years of faithfulness from my D40X. Canon EOS 60D w/ a 18-135mm kit to start me off.

How long until more gear starts showing up in this thread? :dopey:

That said, going from Nikon to Canon, do you have anything that you can reuse - tripod, filters, etc. or would you be starting over?

Won't be too long. Already looking at some L-Lenses for next year. :D

Nothing to be carried over. The Nikon was pretty much my first step into the hobby & I stuck with a trusty, lil' Sigma 18-200mm lens for my shots. So, I'll be starting over, but I'll be using the Canon to really start getting into the hobby. Still looking for a tripod/monopod in one at the moment for it. :)

That is very important. The bag looks really nice and indeed comfortable.

I bought a Slingshot 300 a few months ago. This one (but bigger):

Snip...

And although it is very pratical (because you can get to the camera and even swap lenses on the go), it is not comfortable... When using it at 2/3, it already carries too much weight just for one shoulder and it always stays at a weird angle. Shame.

At least it was cheap (50€ new).

I have that very slingshot backpack. Very hand and easy to use. Fits my gear in quite easy.

Indeed, very handy and easy to use.
It really is a shame it can get so uncomfortable after a few hours for me (with just a body plus 4 lens, for example).
What's weird is that I can use the equivalent weight on my Crumpler shoulder bag without any problem.

It's mine and my girlfriend's one year anniversary. Also got 2 nice Champagne flutes (Really wanted to get them engraved, but the only shop I could find that engraves glass is shut for renovation :grumpy:)

I used to sell that gear^. Must be pushing £80 a bottle!
To rich for my tastes. I'd have bought a case of Strongbow and a 20 deck of L&B gold.

I bought the Title and Plates today for this

Granted it was my Aunts, but since my dad is next of kin, he gave it to me and took her Fiero. I just had to pay for plates and Insurance.
