Theft prevention usually. And more visible on the shelves/hangers at stores.
Explains why they'd sandwich a layer of thick PETE between the cardstock... can't recycle that packaging, them silly manufacturers.

Is there a website that sell those?

Uni qlo (Japanese chain, address:Click me!) should be able to have an English online store that will sell you the retro games t-shirts.

They have loads from what I can remember. Retro and also current games stuff as well too, on the t-shirts.

Correct. Not sure if they ship internationally though. I just had a quick look on ebay and you can buy them there, but they are a little pricey.

Only reason why I know about Uni qlo is I happened to come across it in Shanghai and it was an revelation to see so many different clothes and t-shirts with games stuff on it!

Although I wasn't actually there to buy it, just to browse.

They should be ok to ship or to sell to England, I think they do have a London store somewhere.

Yes. Unfortunately, the one near me only happens to have the latest ones. I need to go to a bigger store to find the full selection.

Same, really want to get a 360 mainly for Kinect and Forza. Trying to tell myself to hold on for the next gen.

I've been wanting to get a 360 for years. Since around the time they came out actually. I think it's a great gaming system. But the fact that Microsoft still haven't released a version that isn't vulnerable to the RROD is the reason I haven't bought one. Shame. I missed out on a classic console, but I lost all confidence in them. Maybe I'll buy a 720. But I won't buy it until at least a year after release to be sure that it doesn't suffer from some basic manufacturing defect.

It's not the price of the console that puts me off. It's the possibility of obtaining a library of classic games and not having a system to play them on.

Hopefully MS's next console will be able to play 360 games (although the rumours seem to state otherwise). Problem is it will be pricey at launch and might prove unreliable. I'm not going to buy a console at launch any more and just wait to see what happens.

If l ever got an Xbox it would have to play the latest Microsoft Flight Simulator.

PS3's still have the YLOD problem as well (although it's not as common as the RRoD) The new one has a very big fan on it so hopefully it wont overheat as quick.

I'm not a big fan of the 360 UI though.. its very like Windows 8 with all its tiles.

as well as a little unusual present...

It comes with a pair of rubber gloves so the sauce doesn't burn your skin (it's about 120 times hotter then tabasco sauce).

True, but it is nowhere near as common as the RROD. Two of my friends alone have had to send their consoles back a combined 7 times. Absolutely unacceptable. Not trying to start an argument here though, I've already stated how I like the console, but I wouldn't buy one for that reason.

Ironically, I have had the "disc read error" happen on my PS3. But I don't know anyone else who's had it.

Hopefully I actually get some luck and win the Les Paul prize they have :D

EB games is still around? I haven't seen one in years! I thought gamestop switched the names of them?

I miss electronic boutique. It was so much better then gamestop. You use to get a 10 day satisfaction guarantee, and could return the game just because you didn't like it. Now you can buy a game and it not work at all and your screwed. I remember when socom confrantation came out, you literally couldn't even play it because the servers didn't work for like a week, and gamestop wouldn't accept returns for it.

For new games?

Because there's always been a "return if you don't like it" policy at GameStop for used games.

I just bought two UPS shipping labels to send back my HD DVR's to Dish Network. After nine years and nearly $12,000 I am saying good bye to Satellite TV.

Note: They would give me $300 to come back, but they wouldn't give me $74.94 to keep me. I say good riddance.

Heh, I somehow managed to get a YLOD about 3 months into my slim PS3 ownership in 2010, and an RROD a week into my 360 ownership in September 2011, but both just required an unplug and then have worked absolutely fine since. The latter, I chalked up to a heavy bump, while the PS3 had been running for quite an extended amount of time. I panicked, of course, but since there's been nary a hint there's any problems since, I'm not worried now.

*knocks on wood*

Originally had a shift lined up that would've covered most of the night in Toronto, and bought two reserved-seat midnight tickets to the Avengers. The shift has been cancelled, so I'm lounging at the girlfriend's with six Mill Street Organics while she's out with a friend. Movies and beer - all the important purchases, then.

You think dish is bad. I went to get direct TV a few years ago, and they really screwed me. They told me i would get local channels from my city, and I didn't so i canceled the subscription an hour after the installers left. I wanted to watch my local college sports, but got local channels from another state. They billed me for everything twice, and took it right out of my checking account. They took almost 1500$. they also said I needed 300$ down payments for each of my HD DVRs. They ended up refunding half of the money because they said they made a mistake charging me twice for everything, but kept over 700$, and I only had the service for less then 2 hours. I fought it for about 3 months and finally gave up. I bet I easily spent over 40 hours on the phone with various people from direct TV, and not one fo them would help me.

They took the 1500$ the minute I cancelled on them, so I went and cancelled that card. I even got bills later for them trying to get more money from me. 30$ bills, 145$ bills, all kinds of crazy stuff. I finally got the right person on the phone, and they looked over my case, and put a stop to the new bills, but wouldn't refund any of the 700$ I lost. all this happened 2 weeks before christmas.

As bad as Dish may be, it will never, ever compare to how awful Comcast is. It only slightly beats out AT&T for the worse company in America.

Just switched to comcast from dish in december. Couldn't be happier.
My experience with ATT wireless has been more or less the same for the past 10 years.
Every company out there is the worst company in the world according to someone.

Yeah. Not sure why the labels DISH sends you cost more than ones you get at the store yourself. When they sent me the labels and boxes, I managed to stuff both the DVRs into one box and sent it out.

I tried all of them and would rate them like this

DirecTV - for channels not internet
Comcast - for internet not channels
Dish - no thanks! :yuck:

Just arrived, the two flags that I ordered on Monday. 3x5 of Sudan and Burkina Faso, (the extended views are from my Facebook page.) - my initial goal is to get all 3x5 flags of Africa, so far I'm missing 2/3rds of them. I'm only going to buy two flags every month. I don't want to spend all my money on flags, there are many other items I also want to buy.

That's a pretty cool idea. Are you starting with Africa and building up the whole world eventually?
