Sony Xperia S white. My old phone was playing up and this seemed better than anything else for under £200.

Welcome to the club, you paid less than £200 for it? Great value imo.

I appear to be treating myself this weekend. Bought DiRT 2 on Friday, and just bought this today from a friend for £60.

I bought a car! Passed my test last year so this is my first:

A 1.4 Civic Type S. Beast of an engine at 100hp.

That is such a nice car.

A pity we don't get it over here.

?

The SUV is literally the worst thing to happen to the automobile industry. They're big, unpleasant looking and nobody uses them for off roading anymore. Blazers and Scouts are cool, but the modern. Meh. Soccer mom mobiles.

The "SUV" has been around just as long as the truck. We will be using this vehicle for many tasks, one of which will be going up to the high lakes where many other vehicles will not make it.

Keep to your wagons though, since they are definitely nothing like a truck with an extended enclosed cargo area. ;)

As far as the looks of it, yeah... it's no Ferrari, but it does have it's points. Aggressive styling, utilitarian uses and everything that a 4WD vehicle needs in my snowy area.

I love the chunky-yet-stylish look of it.
Whether it sold well, or not, doesn't bother me.

To be fair, the Xterra is hardly a Highlander or something of that nature. The ones I see tend to be pretty dirty, and the majority are driven by males. That, sir, is still a truck 👍

A small purchase to make tonight's long hours in front of the computer more entertaining:

👍 Mill St. Brewery. I got fairly drunk at their brewpub in the Distillery District, that was a good afternoon.

8 cases Coca-Cola Co. Soda @ ~$3.00/each. Awesome sale at Albertson's that was 4 cases for $12...and a bag of chips! :delicious:

I went over with my spending, I ran out of spending money in about 2 hours. All I have left is money for medication and paying bills. $20 for the rest of April. I spent most of my cash before April even began.

I ordered lots of 17 individual cards, 8 Theme Decks - they were on sale, 3 tins - really wanted the tins especially Samurott one, 2 stuffed animals (called plushies - Bibarel and Samurott keychain) all Pokemon related.

for a grand total of $208.15 US dollars.

Twenty dollars for medication and your bills for the month? Twenty dollars doesn't even cover milk for the month in my house.

He went bust on $208 worth of Pokemon stuff.

And I think it is $20 after meds and bills.

No, I mean I only have $20 dollars to spend, I still have $200 for bills and medicine. Sorry for any confusion.

That's what I thought. So Ramen noodles and PB&J for food this month?

Exactly. Body on ladder style frame, RWD until 4WD mode engaged, torquey engine with enough power to actually pull a load, unlike a Rav4 or Subaru Forester that has about enough capability to pull a jet ski. It's a truck. Mine will get dirty/muddy/stuck fairly frequently, but I'm still going to care for it and make it look good.

New prescription glasses - 55€

Actually 700€ but the rest is being paid by social security and my supplementary insurance. It has all the fancy stuff like glasses that turn into sunglasses and the likes. Just like my old glasses that I got last year. :P

I've been living on $2 for the last 2 weeks. :P Already bought all my food though, and after bills that's what was left. :scared:

Xterra's are awesome. Some old friends of mine had one of the last body styles that was supercharged. Took it offroading one weekend and the thing couldn't be stopped. Bone stock too. 👍

Should have got carbon frames!

Wasn't bought; was given to me by a colleague today.

Didn't want to make a thread about it so I'll post it here:

She previously gave me a box of her collected coins from when she was little. The oldest coins I received were a 1916 Canadian Penny.

Now this blows that out of the water! I got me 1904 and 1901 Pennies... and what's this about half pennies?! I've never even heard of them before! 🤬 :D
