I've on a bit of a bass gear spree lately. This isn't but promise to post more pics of the rest of the gear as I get time. Until then, my new rig of doom.

I present to you 300 all tube watts into the fridge. Ampeg SVT Classic into the 810E 8x10" speaker cab.

Wait how many watts is that? 300 if i read that correctly?

Yes, that is correct. 300 watts.

In case you're wondering if 300 watts is enough, consider that this is 300 Tube Watts. watts are watts, but tube watts are just louder.

Here's a little exerpt from Talk Bass posted by member megadan.

How loud is a 300W SVT-Cl in an 8x10?

Well, how loud is the bass at your local club? What's the loudest band you've ever heard?

It's hard to say without reference, but it's sort of this loud: You stand in front of it and plug a hot bass into the unpadded input. Then you start turning up the gain until the signal is pretty loud, like a good loud bass signal that you'd like to hear.
Then, you crank up the master! It gets to be about noon and this thing is making some serious noise, like in the 'pushing air' category. Whenever you hit the strings you sort of get a little smile on your face, oh and also, the walls rattle a little bit.
That's when you take those volume knobs and you just goose 'em a little bit more, just a touch higher. Now your tone sounds like a nuclear bomb turning a desert into glass. Everything vibrates when you hit the low E string, like the cab, the walls, the pictures, the floor, and your girlfriend. Sometimes things will come loose and fall down.
The cat will be as far away as he can physically get. By this point, someone should be yelling at you to "turn that thing down!" If not, you can play a little more and then get a little scared and have to go to the bathroom.
That's about how loud it is, roughly.

Yes, but does it go up to 11? :D

Awesome purchase, the sound of those in a small bar or similar must be something awesome. Acrylic glasses advised. 👍

You're going to build the frame yourself? Awesome. 👍

Yes, I'm going to be using steel beams, plastic (body), and lots of other parts from Lowes Home Improvement and Ace Hardware.

@Omnis will fully understand this.

Its always nice to have really awesome neighbors that will go out of their way to do anything for you. My neighbor truly is amazing and I always try to give him money for helping me with my cars and for snow blowing. So yesterday I surprised him and placed $200.00 in his mail box. Lets just say he was more than shocked. It is not something I can take a picture of but I am sure it looks like this..... :D

Careful. Now every morning I have to wake up to *sweep* *sweep* *sweep* and the sound of buckets on the walkway outside my window.
