I recently bought some rare 'JDM' merch. The first starting off with Brand-New and Never-Worn suede racing shoes produced by Yokohama Tire, under their Advan series. People who had a pair were mainly Japanese drivers and drifters who were and/or are still sponsored by Yokohama, like Keiichi Tsuchiya, Manabu Orido, Nobuteru Taniguchi, Yoshinori Koguchi and Yasuyuki Kazama. They were only like $100 USD shipped from a promising seller from a S2000 forum :)

And I bought a 350mm black Nardi Gara 3 off UpGarage/Croooober for my G27, to temporarily replace my Momo Modena (also 350mm). I could say the Kei-Office gloves are recent but I got them early February hehe (I also have a orange pair which I actually use)

I remembered these magazines from my childhood. Considering this was the most complete lot on eBay (19 out of 25 issues is pretty good!) it makes me pretty good for winning the bid!

For those who don't know, GMR was the main magazine for EB Games from 2003 to early 2005. It was dropped after EB Games was bought out by Gamestop, and soon switched over to Game Informer.

Well, not quite: there are no good stock images of the midnight colour I bought (this is the petroleum). Need a spring jacket, and just happened to find this available.

Yet more PSN deals. No more buying until I've played all of them (or, in the case of story-based games, beaten them)*:

* - Technically I've already played and beat three of the four (never tried GTA3).

wouldn't the aluminium mouse pad scratch easily?

I thought the same thing, but since the Apple mouse has two little rubber strips on the bottom, it's working fine. 👍

I have that trilogy too. I was pleasantly surprised how actually not bad the graphics were, compared to the ps2 on a big screen tv.

Ah, that's good to hear. I've been wary of all the re-releases over the years, but recently I've realized my PS2 won't last forever, so I'm scooping up the classics I enjoyed when I can. The FFX remake on PS3 was more than acceptable in terms of graphics. It's also super-handy to have everything all on one system.

I never thought the visuals were that different, until I revisited it on PS2. Oof.

Sony MDR 7506 Headphones. No, I don't have a problem and T-12 is not rubbing off on me! :sly:

I bought these for work as I produce audio content for a college radio station.

I also bought a capo at the same time because I had 20 dollars off of the headphone purchase which paid for more than the capo.

500mL of Auto Glym Super Resin. Mothers polish was finally running out, and this was available for less than it would cost for me to import it from Auto Glym themselves. Pretty excited, as it's got a renown reputation and I've always wanted to try Auto Glym.

997 time - new front discs and pads

...plus a new outdoor car cover. Due to the slightly larger aftermarket exhaust the official Porsche covers don't quite fit and the zips have failed on 2 covers in 3 years. Enough is enough, so I've had a bespoke Stormshield+ cover made by Specialised Covers to fit it exactly. It's more expensive but then again it's cheaper than replacing the Porsche covers every 2 years or so and is better quality, soft lined and has a 3 year warranty.

Quite a few, but the Monolith M560 and M1060 from Monoprice have been on my radar since they were available last year.
:scared:

Do you remember when Monoprice used to be cheap?

Pepperidge Farm remembers.

Ironically, I need to convert a bunch (all) of my combination coax/phone coverplates to coax/network. I could have gone with some on Amazon for, dear lord, $10 each or use keystone jacks from Monoprice for about $10 for 5.

Comparatively, they still are. We're talking about a $300 pair of headphones trading blows with those costing 2-2.5x (if not 3x-plus) more than it does.

They're like a hybrid of a pair of HiFiMan HE and Audeze LCD, and I have dreams about them. :P

While I wait to get a BlackBerry KEYone, bought a LG G5 again (Switched to it today). Also got couple of Samsung 128GB MicroSDXC EVO+ memory cards. Got delivered today Xbox One S Minecraft Bundle + Forza Horizon 3.

I don't usually drink rum, but this is exquisite over ice. Starts with that familiar rum sweetness, but only just enough, then you get a gentle wave of cinnamon and Christmas then, when you swallow and breathe out, there's a distinct Speyside whisky heat about it. Magic.

The bottle is also awesome.

That bottle almost makes me want to start drinking rum.

For me, a new cycling kit for an event coming up.
Long story but these guys (Black Sheep) are awesome and ended up getting one made for me from their supplier.

Got delivered a couple of days ago and couldn't be happier after giving it a quick 50km test ride.

Is that, mmmm, cough syrup?
