So the wife bought me the new Blacksabbath Flannel from Dixxon along with a paid of Green Chinos and a belt…

All for my Birthday, but I was so impressed by the quality I’ve picked up two more pairs of Chinos in Black and Navy along with a new SnapBack.

I’ve also bought a new paid of Barefoot Shoes from Saguaro. I’m used to Vivo, but the cost now is £150+ per pair and I just can’t justify the cost vs £42 Inc free delivery.

If the quality is good and fit is spot on then I’ll probably pick up some more shoes for the summer.

So I mentioned back in 2022 how I liked Johnathan East and was considering buying a bunch of his albums on my birthday back in 2020 provided my neighbor showed up, but she never did, so it didn't happen. So I've been trying to buy his albums over time, and this time I got this one. Like the other one, this one had also been a long time coming because I had looked it up a number of times in the past 5 years and it was very seldom I ever saw it for sale and the few times I did, it was prohibitively expensive.

Until last week, my luck finally changed, and I saw it for a reasonable price for the first time ever. Curiously, it was after I went to my aforementioned neighbor's house for the first time since 2019 to help with something that I saw this. :odd:

I was starting to think I'd never get this album and I almost considered giving up on finding the CD, but I am glad I didn't because now after 5 years or so, it's finally mine! :D

Alright... I am posting this purely as a self-reminder to self-shame. Like a pin of shame, if you will, to prevent future mishaps.

I've been looking at getting pocket film cameras as of late because I just want to have something on-hand that is easy to use in the moment.

So I bought not one, not two, but three of them:

Olympus Mju-II

Minolta Capios 25

And I just realised the seller never showed the camera turned on with the lens revealed so I'm not sure if I bought the 28mm f/2.8 fixed lens body or the zoom..... Guess we'll find out together on the weekend.

The Fuji Cardia HITE mainly cuz it's a funky old camera my uncle used to have and the drop-in loading mechanism is actually cool. I'll show you guys when it gets here.

So not bad, right? The Olympus Mju-II was the most expensive of the bunch here, and it kinda wrecked my bank but nothing too crazy that isn't recoverable by the end of the month.

It was supposed to be just those three. Now here is where the shame comes in.

I also bought these:

Nikon F3

Nikon F5 to complete my Nikon F collection, the heavy-hitters anyway. The Nikon F6 doesn't count to me because it came out way too late when everyone was already shooting digital. Plus my bank account won't handle it.

And finally my most coveted rangefinder, the Nikon S2 WITH the 50mm f/1.4. There are a lot of S2s on eBay that have missing lenses or are paired with the black lenses so there's a mismatch. There are late-model S2s with black dials that complements the black lenses more but I always liked the more polished metal look, plus the black dials are more expensive.

I honestly feel sick. Gear Acquisition Syndrome is real folks. I'll update this thread when everything is delivered, or rather, when I pick everything up from the holding station lest I get murdered in my home when all these packages arrive on the doorstep.

Wish me luck for my new job interview tomorrow, I'm going to need it to recuperate the cost of this impulse buy.

Today came what I was waiting for - a discount for PS Plus.
Bought Premium for 98€ and got 988 PS Stars for it, although Sony said they won't give stars for buying PS Plus anymore.

I have also grabbed 3 months of GP Ultimate.

Wanted to buy Lies of P too, but not enough money on account 😁

So, I sold off a decent portion of my game collection, a lot of which was stuff that was collecting dust that I wasn't going to get to anytime soon.

In doing so, I used a portion of the funds to add a couple things that have been on my wantlist for a while:

Full English dubs and subs, and at a fraction of the cost of their North American counterparts? Say no more. I plan on ordering the Directors Cut of Silent Hill 2 soon.

I've also been adding good bit to the vinyl collection. All of these were picked up within the last month:

I was actually planning on ordering GNX online, so imagine my surprise when my main record shop actually had a few on tap! Glad I made an improptu visit that day.

Finally received this today! This one I have here is a 2 disc special edition release of When The Sun Goes Down that was only sold at Target and has some bonus tracks and of course a bonus CD. It's easily the best version of the album you can get since it has the most tracks. Been after this one for a while now and although there are a few readily available now, I've had a hard time finding this particular version of the album until recently. I had seen a listing for this for a while, but it was expensive and it didn't have enough photos for me to verify if it was truly this version of the album. However, I became increasingly uneasy about how long it would be around, and when the price eventually went down to around $5, I took the risk and decided to get it.

As you can see, it was exactly what I was looking for and I am really glad I didn't miss out on it. Been wanting this for a while and I am glad it's finally mine! :) And after years of progress, my country music library has finally hit 5000 songs since I have this CD now. :D
