What kind of car do you have? My Tacoma takes an irritating 6.1 quarts. But nine?
2015 Audi A8L with the 4.0T V8, she's thirsty lol and I do my oil changes every 5k km/3k miles and this time around I was 600km over my maintenance schedule.

Oddly enough my 4.2L N/A V8 in my 2004 Audi A8L only takes 8.1 quarts lol

The Criterion sale got me, I've been eying their Showa Godzilla set for awhile and figured it was as good of a time as ever since it was cheaper than even what people are asking for second hand versions. Other than 3 Heisei era films (that are insanely expensive) and the anime series I now have every Godzilla film that's easily accessible.

Walking through Costco with my wife tonight, I may have steered her past the electronics section towards the monitors. Stopped at the MSI G274QPF and said I was thinking about getting a new monitor but didn't need a new monitor.

She said "It's on sale. Birthday present?"

I put it in the cart.

Added some new UHD’s

I already have Pitch Black so now adding the second in the Trilogy

I also have the Vinegar Syndrome UHD of Road House. However, as it’s only HDR10, I did wonder what a Dolby Vision version would look like. So pre-ordered the Arrow Version.

And out of left field came one of my all time faves. Dark City, so I had to pre-order it.

The betta tank I set up in Feb needed better lighting, so I picked up a 16w lamp from the local aquarium shop.

In the bag there is a dozen guppies to add a bit more life to the tank.

Overall an improvement. Once the vallisnaria (aquatic grass) takes, it should be jungle all the way.

I bought this water bottle from my dealerships parts department on a whim, and it has significantly increased my daily intake of water. I’ll drink the whole bottle about 3-4 times a day.

I was going to buy this myself to join the old version but one of my sisters got it for my brithday

Still much too antisocial to find a group and actually play, I just like reading the rules.

New PC:
Asus PROART PA602 (tower)
Noctua NH-D15 chromax.black
64 GB RAM CL30 6000
AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
Seasonic VERTEX GX-1200 ATX3.0 1200W VERTEX
Gigabyte 16 GB RTX 5080
Gigabyte X870E ELITE WIFI7
SSD 4TB 7400/6900 990 PRO M.2
SSD 8TB 7000/6200 NM790 M.2

I wanted three SSDs, because the board has four NvME-Slots, but you can only have two SSDs wihtout "lane sharing". If you install an SSD into the wrong M-2-slot, the GPU runs with 8 instead of the 16 lanes. I don't think many people know that.

Interesting idea. I'm not sure that I love them but I've only been using them for about an hour. Intended use is for at work so I can still hear the people around me.
How are they? I need some open buds that don't go around the top of the ear. The ones I have never stay on well with sunglasses.

They take a bit of getting used to but they're not bad. A bit of pressure on your ear so they don't fall off, obviously, but not so hard it pinches.

Sound quality is decent. You're not going to get much bass out of them but that's to be expected. That doesn't mean they're completely anemic and tinny, though.

I was pretty surprised how loud they sounded to me and my wife couldn't hear them from 2 feet away.

They'll get their first good test tomorrow at work.

Topped up my CD collection. Since getting a CD player and speakers last year I've bought nearly 100 CDs and now listen to music most of the time. I never really listened to music much on mp3 or streaming as it used the soundbar.

I also put up the "Marshall" key hanger I got a few weeks ago. I need to find more stuff to hang though!

Physical copy of Vylet Pony’s “Carousel (An Examination of the Shadow, Creekflow, and its Life as an Afterthought)” on vinyl. Bandcamp announced they were ending their vinyl pressing program late last year, and Vylet was able to get this last one produced before it shutdown.

I looked at some reviews and picked up a pair of Soundpeat Pearlclip Pros.

They sound incredible for a discrete earbud, but more importantly they're super comfortable. I can't believe I'm just finding out about this form factor. They're so much more comfortable than anything that sits over the anterior base of the helix or within the ear canal. They just kind of hang out in the conchal bowl and the backside gently but securely holds them there. What a revelation.

These look pretty interesting. The form factor reminds me of something from the 2000s, like a Frutiger Aero look.
