Today I sold my standard Blu-ray PS5 and PSVR2.

Little later, i bought this:

I bought it in 70 installments, where one costs me 17€.
Money is saved for new TV, otherwise no use of Pro.
But that will happen after Easter.

Video games I bought recently.

At a retro game store I visit sometimes, I bought these 2 NFS games. Finishing my PS1 NFS collection, though I am going to need to get NFS1 a Jewel case.

Slowly building up the collection of games I wanted on the Switch for a while, but couldn't get until now as I didn't have one.

I normally don't care about die cast stuff much but I was at a sprint car race last night and one of the vendors had a shelf with a few for $5. Among those were 2 LMP's I hold in high regard so I figured why not, they wound up giving me all 4 for $15.

Been using the paddles on my G29 for a while but I've been wanting a shifter for it and seen amazon had them for $50.

Welp it doesn't stay attached to my desk very well and neither does my wheel honestly. My desk has a bar blocking the clamps but I'd rather not cut it off so I decided to order the Next level racing wheel stand lite 2.0. Don't have much room so it's the best thing for me atm.

I regret not getting a rig for my own G29 sooner, as I ended up wearing out one of its table clamps. I was able to find someone on Etsy selling 3D-printed replacement clamps for about €20, but when I tried replacing mine, not only did I not fasten the screws tightly enough (leading to the rim wobbling and occasionally switching itself off), I also stripped them so I can't re-fasten them. :banghead:

It can survive an Assetto Corsa or Euro Truck Sim session, but I wouldn't dare use it for online racing.

Posted it already in the status bar, but managed to get a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle preordered. Tried to get it online at launch.
Tried Target first. Went from “avaliable soon”, to “out of stock”, to “in stock” in a 2 minute span. Managed to add it to my cart, but it wouldn’t let me check out. After 30 minutes of trying gave up and tried Best Buy. Best Buy put me in a waiting list and kept me there for an hour before I gave up and went to bed. Tried GameStop the next morning during work. GameStops website crashed immediately.
Decided to take an early lunch and drive over to my local GameStop since they were just opening. Sign on the door said they had 100 preorders available and there were about 45-60 people in line. Never trying to preorder online again. In person is so much easier.

So, I decided I'm too lazy to just keep switching my Xbox controller from the console to the PC and viceversa, so I went and bought a dedicated PC controller.

After some research I settled on this brand, as it was cheap and available, and my first impressions are quite positive: It's smaller and lighter than the regular Xbox Series X/S controller but the build quality is close to OEM specs. It has hall-effect joysticks, so drift won't be a future problem, and right from the start they feel more responsive, as tested in FH5/FM (where I use simulation steering input).

Other pluses are the recharge base that also houses the detachable 2.4G wireless dongle (thus acting as a docking station to the PC!), and configuration/updates via software.

One downside is that the rumble is weaker and a bit uneven, but so far, it's not a dealbreaker for me. It does not have headset connection, again not a problem because I connect that directly to PC. As for the wireless connection I don't feel a noticeable lag input, and I can always opt to connect through cable.

BTW, the mattress under the box is also new, right for my old bones to rest.

As a proud owner of a C1 model, congratulations, but your TV stand is giving me anxiety... May I respectfully suggest switching it to the desk (seems sturdy enough) and moving the consoles to the table?

Thanks for suggesting, but I'll leave it as it is.
Short table is perfect high for me sitting in front of it and watching from bed.
What is on white table won't fit on small one - and it's easy to pull it to reach/open closet.

Soundbar is yet to come, still not sure will I install it or sell it.
I'm more headphones man.
