I'm thinking of scanning film negatives for a living as a side hustle, and sell "overlays" as stock images which I make from scanning those empty negative images. When I'm really lucky they have some nice dust, dirt, hair, scratches and other things on them + good grain. I used one of those here for the added retro effect. It comes with its own color profile too, which is really nice.
