Thanks for all the compliments guys, I really appreciate it I <3 this community!
Cerebus...the man, the myth, the legend! I was so stoked to finally get to do some drifting with you. Those shots look wicked! I haven't had a chance to go through that half hour long replay yet lol...hopefully at some point in the next few days.
I've got sooo much replay footage to go through right now haha...could almost say screw drifting and become a full time photographer (ya, 🤬 that). Got like 3 replays from Everygreen Drift (hosted by UKO) and like 5-6 replays from Sidewayz Saturday (hosted by Gargoyle). After only joining these forums around Xmas, I'm so impressed with how many semi-organized events go on...just gotta know the right people. But we got the Night Slide, East Side Meet, Evergreen, Sidewayz Saturday...and that's not even mentioning all the Euro based events that I havent been able to make it to yet. I think it's really a testament to how great this community is...so kudos to all of you!!!
@Mani, tyvm for the wonderful compliment. I will definitely do as you suggested...but I should ask, do those guys accept edited photos, or are they looking for realistic unedited shots?
Edit: I stopped being a lazy bastard and looked for myself lol...guess they do accept edited shots
Jevl, if I can offer you a few picture taking tips:
-try using a shutter speed of 125 or lower. This adds a bit of blur to the shot, giving it a sense of speed.
-use panning mode 2 or 3. Unless you are taking the picture from very far away, it is tough to get a good shot with panning mode 1. It's possible, but I would say its a pretty advanced technique (I still can't get anything good with panning mode 1).
