I can see your a DS3 user with about... 2 months experience? The R34 is a cool car but by the looks of your steering and the fact it's a 4wd, your just rallying the corners with the tail out looking like a Block Ken.

2 months experience ?

I got 99% and 60 Golds in licenses and 5 Golds left until the Gold Standard trophy.
All golds in GT Academy 2012 too!
36 months experience roughly but I have been playing since GT1

@maveric25 Nice response pallie!

Do you really think that matters for drifting...? My response... my response was literally like that when I saw your post... 30/70........ heck why don't you try 50/50 :sly:

pff I could try 50/50 and might be able to get it work if I wanted to all you have to do is find the right combo with grippie tires and slippie tires.

I don't want my rear wheels spinning too much, I want my car to move also which is something you should all consider when messing about with the settings for a perfect driftie.

I don't need all power in the back to slide out can get less grippie tires, you hear what I am saying pallie, it might be how some alright for some of your pallies but I don't want some crap settings as everyone else my driftie will be different from everyone elses!

Can you please keep the arguing out of this thread. It is meant for pictures. I can barely deal with the drama of the drifting section anymore lol.

 Tbh, I go by the general photo has to be the best you can get it...
But some really nice paint jobs give it that extra edge!- (i.e, this Nissan Skyline R30 has Chrome Volk Rays.) So does day time effects such as sunset reflect's a nice light onto the paint!

Game % and PSN trophies has nothing to do with drifting skill.
All gold in GT Academy and Licenses also has nothing to do with drifting skill. To be honest, has nothing to do with skill at all. Even i have those.

Question is... drift with awd is not really drift, it is more sliding... even because you hardly will spin out using an awd.

Now, if you want to prove your skill, get yourself a rwd car, comfort hard tires, front and rear, and record. ;)

👍 Someone had to say it.. lmao. So true though! But he's obviously never experienced drifting with boys from GTP. Only noobs in Public lobby's that hooray when they 'drift' Tsukuba! :D

@ Leo- Thanks, good ol' boy! :)

to make a awd car into a drift car,put the torque split into 10/90.then make the suspension at the rear stiff then make the front firmer then the rear.a spolier helps because it make the drift more controllable.the lsd, make the rear more sensitive then the front

1st mistake: make the front firmer than the front?

2nd mistake: a wing doesn't make it more controllable at all, if anything, makes it more twitchy. Their used either for looks or speed.

A)it suppose to be front firmer then the rear

B)if you drive a car without a spoiler and with a spoiler, the car that got a spoiler grip twice as much, making it more controllable

What those wheels aren't ugly, I like how they look. I probably wouldn't put them on a real chaser if I had one, but they aren't that bad
I've got to agree with spank, they're horrible. They look like bottle caps... I can't see many people going for something like that

Holy crap, what is up with these forums the last week or so....🤬's getting out of control around here lol. I have to agree with my main man Alpacaflip, keep this thread for photos, and discussion of photos. Keep all the drivetrain/tire compound talk to the other million or so threads about it.

@Nismo, those S2k shots look great man! As others have mentioned, when shooting standards, the lighting plays a huge part. Finding an angle that allows a lot of light to be reflected off the car helps make them look better. Another thing to do is do a walk-around of your car, and find the angles it looks bad from, and the ones it looks good from. Certain cars have really bad pixilation and/or choppy lines from certain angles...if you can hide those defects somehow, it really helps the quality of the photo.

I prefer shooting standards from far away and zooming in. I seem to be able to get better shots that way. For some reason, I have a tough time getting close up, wide angle stuff to look good. Other people pull it off though, like Alpaca's G35 (great shots btw!!) or Blitz's R30...I just need more practice I think lol.

And Blitz, those 86 shots are awesome, I really like the 2nd one 👍 I'm diggin your R30 as well! I've had and R30 and R31 sitting in my garage for sooo long, and keep telling myself I'm going to shoot them, but never get around to it lol. I like your use of the wide angle...like I said, I haven't had much luck with that, but you pulled it off. The only bit of criticism I can offer is that in some of the shots, the sky is a little over exposed for my liking (ex the 4th and 5th shots...the last one is much better IMO)

Thanks twitcher! Big Help and Im glad you like them! I must admit, I did try to get the last 2 the exact same angle but didn't manage to get the Sky Right! Im Happy with the way the Wide Angle went too! I like how I caught the sun glare on the track in the 2nd to last picture though! :D
And what 86? I havn't posted 86 Pictures since the Initial D edits I made! xD But I recommend the R30 and R31! They are awesome drift car's! FR Skylines FTW! They looks decent for 'Standard' Car's aswell! ;)

Nice Job! 👍
You should post it in the Stance Thread, you'll get plenty of good feedback there! ;)
