My new favorite, Nissan 240 ZG (HS30) '71. It seems a bit underpowered on the first view, but it is just crazy to drift. I love it.

Thanks eddyac.

Maybe it looks like i was drifting on a "wangan track", but it was just a little tail wagging on HSR, cause i really like the ambience of tunnels for a shot. :D

He means Wangan..
It's not even on a Wangan Track, pointless post

Besides, some people screams "Wangan!!" everytime when they see a Fairlady 240z, due the frenchise "Wangan Midnight"... same as as the AE86 for "Initial D"...

What is wrong, in my opinion. Both cars represents much more than these frenchises.

Haha... Not sure how you can get wangan wrong.

Sure, in my opinion Initial D is the main franchises to promote the AE86.. and maybe even Toyota in general... That's why I have one. XD
I kid.

But the Drift King, Keiichi Tsuchiya has an 86 soo... (think I spelt it right) :P

ANYWAYS! Wangan = 240Z | Initial D = AE86 is the obvious in most peoples minds..

Nice colors on the R32 and fantastic shots twitcher.
I also have one, but thought it has not enough power on my first try, but maybe i should give it a second chance ;).

GT5 seriously needs fully custom drivetrain.

Certainly i would drift any fancy FF in FR new layout.

Agreed...........there are always a bunch of cool cars at the UCD i would have bought...........if......

My bad..........thought it was the R32 with the FR drivetrain. Better clean my glasses from time to time. :)

Lol you had me so confused for a sec....R32?? Not enough power??

I do agree that it is very disappointing how little power you can get out of the standard RWD R32s. Throw up another point for PD in the win column...

Yeah guys beat me to death.......:D

Conclusion on first sight was: Drifting ---> FR ---> must be the GTS-t Type M (which is a R32)

@twitcher: It is a bit underpowered, but the Skyline HT 2000 Turbo RS (R30) '83 is nearly equal and drift real good.

In my small experience to the Skyline GTS (the standard FR ones), i gotta agree that it´s at the same level or sometimes even lower than any S-Chassis. So in my opinion it´s a Class C drifting car, cose it can´t follow naturaly a Class B (RX8, Z33...) or Class A (Camaro SS '10, RX7 Type R, Corvette C6...).

I still like my GTS-t Type M. It's quickly becoming the only car I drift.

I´m not being negative.

Neither am I. However, I'm standing up for my favourite drift car, as other people complain about how little HP it has. Firstly: no one's forcing you to drift it. Secondly: drifting isn't all about throwing 18000 horsepower into an FR car. You need control. I can drift a 280 hp AE86 nicely.

280hp seems to be a common thing. My Sileighty and my ISUZU (YEEEAH BOI!!) Piazza both share the same 280, and both are epic machines!

Nice! So, we've proven that you don't have to have lots of horsepower to have fun. (My real life Hyundai Accent is fun enough at Autocross events)

I don't think there's any need to defend the R32 to anyone, regardless of HP. I think I can safely say that everyone in the drift community has at least some level of respect for Skylines. What we all should be doing is writing angry letters to PD demanding drivetrain swaps lol.

Question for someone smart. What motor do the RWD Skylines come with? Is it the RB20 or RB26? IIRC, only the GTR got the RB26, and all the RWD (2 and 4 door) got the RB20...but I'm not totally sure.

To the guy that said "sounds like Forza".....in the words of Ant, "You can't be serious."

Drivetrain swaps sounds like real life to me...it also happens to sound like Forza...cause guess what, Forza did a much better job of mimicking real life vehicle customization than any GT game ever has. Forza has way less cars than GT, but the engine swaps and drivetrain swaps in Forza make soooo many cars in GT redundant.

I believe that it's the RB26 without the turbo in the R32, and the RB20 with a turbo on the '83 Skyline R31. Don't quote me, on that, though (figuratively speaking) as I'm not entirely sure.

IIRC there were many different models for the Skyline. The more relevant RWD ones were the GTS-x models.

R32 GTS-T came with RB20DET
R33 GTS-25t came with RB25DET

and yah only the GTRs came with RB26
