Ok,

I havent posted in months, so prepare for a monster post lol

I'm working on a lot of cars ; MX5, Corvette, FC3x RX7 and more.

This was from decoys profile, but he hasn't showed it here, it was too nice for me to resist

These are my pics, not all my cars

Welcome to the forum, don't hesitate to ask for anything. You were getting some nice angle in that Camaro btw... 👍
Thanks bud. Not the easiest car to drift  but I love it.

Really like this picture, Welcome to GTPlanet, The community here is truely amazing where everyone unites to share the love of GTPlanet. Don't Believe me? Check out the Looping Problem Thread.

Thanks I do believe you. I played online for the first time last night and I'm now addicted.:D
One question though. How do you guys take pics from the online drift races?

You can't save free runs but if you start a race you can save the replay afterwards :)

You can save the replay data to a flash drive.

However it would be pointless without GT5 to decrypt it.
Replays aren't videos, they're just data that the GT5 engine uses to recreate the events.
Like CSI style

Cool that makes more sense now. Sorry for being such a noob. I never really take interest in recording replays and stuff until watching all you guys video's :)

Makes sense. Sorry guys, it looks like the $170 option is the only option for HD drifting with real-time playback. :grumpy:

This page need some pictures :D, This is the Wing Zero (nar's tunning) Z4.
Love this car so much !

Oh no:boggled:. Can't the replay just be saved to an external hard drive the same way photos are saved from replay mode?

You can save the replay to an external harddrive but you can't play it on your laptop. Maybe you can get some sort of program that will convert the file I'm not sure though.

Kazunori could likely make one for us, but, I'm not sure he wants to. Otherwise, I don't know many people capable of decrypting those replay files. :(

There's no known program to play a 'replay' on a pc.
Unless you can access the GT5 engine on your computer you aren't going to make any use of the replay data 👍

And don't apologise for being a 'noob'. We all have to start somewhere and asking questions is a good way to learn

All this discussion about replay files and cap cards really dont belong here. I know its all friendly, but please dont clutter up the thread with off-topic discussion.

You didn't need to comment though did you.

Cool Thanks Urie. Here's more pics of my camaro. Since this thread is dedicated to drift cars I don't wanna spoil it:P

Your angles are good but try using panning mode 3 and a low shutter speed so that you get a sense of motion like this. vvvvvvvvv.

See how the wheels and background are moving. It makes the picture look a lot better then if it was still. Just my advice. :)

In honor of my 50th post, I'm going to hurt Alpacaflip's feelings...

Stay tuned. 👍

Great stuff lads!

Got a new PS3 (old one YLOD'd) and now my wheel's had to be sent off for a replacement, really can't enjoy GT on the DS3.

Will be back in the photo scene in good time lads ;)
Might hop on at some point to shoot some old replays.
