Never blur out what's right in front of you in the shot, it makes the viewer confused. I kinda see what you tired to achieve here, but the area of focus is far too small for the effect I believe you were going for.

It would've been much nicer to be able to rest your eyes on a great looking Miata, instead of a big blurry puddle of colour.

Maybe he's too cool for conventional photography. Or he's symbolizing how blurred our society is today... or some crap along the lines of that.

Hahaha! That actually made me go ''what the ....'' I doubt it, he just thought he'd try something different I think!

There's no doubt that's his style of photography, a lot of his work looks like this! Who's to say it's his least liked shot of the set, but he put it in there anyway to see if he'd get any comments regarding his strange approach to focusing a camera. 👍

I quite like it, more so if the focused wheel was centered in the frame better.
Plus, I do get what you're saying Cerebus!

Only way it could've worked is if the rear of the car was pointing towards the camera and the front wheel was turned towards the viewer.

I like being different, trying new stuff,angles everything... IMO Using same angle and editing style is boring but can't do anything about all the Miata shots I just love the car
