youth_cycler: I couldn't stop laughing when I read the quote in the first place, so I had to put it in. Next time someone says something that good, they get put in the signature (and Klos goes).

My signature is currently under the 8-lines legeslation in place. Until a 4 line rule is written in stone I won't alter my signature at all.

the idea was kind of a simple agreement to keep it small-ish... i like seeing sigs, but some of them are waaay overboard... especially if they show up TWICE in a thread.

big letters count as 4 lines, those medium letters count as 2 lines. thats 8 lines right there.

Nope, you're wrong, letters, no matter how big, only occupy one line. While they are the size of 2 lines, they are only on one line, thus within the limit.

I could argue about this for a long time, cause I'm right, and Jordan and Josh both have seen my sig, even made me change it from before, and said that this was within the limit.

Heck, Josh replied and just said to turn them off in your cp if you don't like em. Jordan hasn't replied. I guess everyone's sig is fine. You can encourage people to have smaller sigs (mine used to be huge, but after reading Gigo's thread, I made is smaller), but you can't really make them, unless higher authority says so.

I like Giles's, but his is fairly short since the type's small.

Some things haven't changed; long sigs are usually quite annoying. A few do it right, but anyone using anything other than size=1 or size=2 is usually an annoyance in my book.

Well, at least pics and car logos aren't part of signatures around here. It's not all that bad...
