Silly question - fanatec pedals with logitech wheel?

As the title reads, is it possible to use fanatec pedals with a logitech (driving force) wheel on a PS3 running GT? The driving force's pedals are very plastic and the fanatec ones look so much nicer. Cheap too. Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere - I did search.

I have asked the same question and Fanatec said; NO!

It is not possible because the G27 wheel can't cope with the digital signal of the CSP's.

So it looks like I'm stuck with my Driving Force pedals. I've read of people using different pedals on their PC. I wonder why it can't be done on the PS3.

It can be done but not with the CSP's unless you change the contacless magnetic sensors with potmeters that are the same as the DFGT's. I still wonder if the pressure sensor works with the DFGT/G27?

You can adjust the VPP pedals, the ECCI pedals, the CST pedals to work with the DFGT or the G27 on the PS3 but not the Fanatec CSP's.

I just checked all three of the companies you named. Way too expensive! I'm not that serious about my gaming.

The CSP work with any wheel you want on the PC, because they also have a USB connection on them, and they have their own drivers.

You can then map your throttle, brake and clutch in game.

If you are using them on the PC it is actually recommended that you use the USB connection, even if you are using a Fanatec wheel, because they have a significantly higher resolution through USB.
