But you know what does, being in the drift scene for quite some time now. I have found the chick scene is very good, we even have girl drifters. Do girls think drifting is hot? yes acutally they do.
Im pretty sure I can round up a few girls to prove your pointless point... is wrong. There is more skill in drifting then slamming through the gears in your wrong wheel drive down a 1/4 mile. Almost should be in the special olympics. But give him a break he is 15, let him want his hot chicks and all that good stuff. Once you're in drifting for real you worry more on being with someone you want for awhile.And as for you, I would take it your gay? You probably dont drive at all or use your chevrolegs. So do me and silvia a favor shut your mouth and let him work on his car. When you are 15 and have no job it takes awhile to get a car to FD or D1 drift spec. And drifting is alot more then just a "welded" diff and a stripped interior.

Yeah I doubt cheap taiwan coilover will be better than HSD's. Its a pretty stupid thing to say. Which would you have?
Tawan made that are actually dangerous and have a maximum of around 5 settings
Or HSD's with 16 settings, 20 years experience behind it and proven performance

Nobody said street racing or drag racing did and so what if he was gay? I know gay guys, good guys but doesn't mean I am.
No girls in general don't find "drifters" hot. My girlfriend is confused why somebody would take a perfectly good car and strip it all out, replace all the parts, and then destroy the tires by making it slide around corners. I don't think she is alone there.
Anyway I like 240s, good looking cars. When is it going to be done?

Its done out of anger and being tired of all the Honda people thinking their :censored" dont stink. This is why I dont own a honda nor associate myself with people that own them. Im not saying every girl thinks drifters are hot. And of course most girls will think that because most girls dont even know changing oil is important to your engine. But when you associate the girls who are around it and do find it attractive. When you are at a drift scene trust me the girls there are their either for their cars or their men are into cars and like drifting. If you go to a drift event and show them you can actually do it, and do it good. You will be more popular in the ladies section yes.

You can think whatever you want about girls and drifting but what I am getting at (and I believe others here too) is that just because you own a car that can drift doesn't mean you walk into high school and girls come running, nor does it mean because you show up at an event girls come running. Only the guys with the wicked cars or the guys that are good will get any kind of attention. You talk like none of us have ever been to a drift event.
Believe it or not I have and a friend of mine drifted for a while and was okay and no he wasn't going home with somebody new every night.

And silvia doesnt think that either. When he says here comes to girls. He means when the car ins done not the way it looks like now. And no girls wont come running if you show up at a drift event in a car that can drift. I can drift and use to in my SR S14. Not saying I was going home with a girl everynight but its not about the car, its about the driver. 👍

HSD coilovers are made in Korea. It's the company's own brand of coilovers.

Driftworks coilovers are rebranded HSD coils.
Stance used to be (I dunno about now) rebranded HSD.
I know Buddy Club and Kei-Office coilovers were made by them.
They are better than Megan Racing/K-sport/D2/Godspeed/Apexi/ect, but just barely.
Most K-Sports have 32 settings btw. The ones you posted are separately adjustable with compression and rebound, and actually have 860 total combination of settings, due to the remote reservoirs.
You really thought everyone out there had their own factory for producing coilovers?
(I should mention that Taiwan is capable of producing good products. Lots of "jdm" stuff you think is awesome was probably manufactured in Taiwan, and assembled in Japan, therefore being "made in Japan". The problems arise when instead of simply using Taiwan as a cheap location to produce something to your spec, you simply take what they made themselves and put your sticker on it. That's how you get "cheap Taiwanese coilovers")
Just for the record, I don't have a Honda. All your posts about honda's and slamming gears aren't meant for me. I assume you assumed this because I have "The Honda Fan Club" in my signature. Nice try.
I drive a 240sx. I've been to drift events, I drift my car as well. The chicks there are the ones that come with their boyfriends. Sure, there's a lot of hot chicks at Formula D events, but they don't go to grassroots events because a supercoolguy in his beat up 90's car makes their panties wet.

PerfectBalance, I was just stating that coilovers made by cheap companies won't be as safe or up to par compared to brands like HSD otherwise so many people wouldn't use the tried and tested brands. I believe the CS2's to be made solely by Driftworks and at most based on the HSD's but I may be wrong (based on driftworks' info)

And I was just making the point that the cheap coilovers and HSDs are made literally, in the same factory in Korea, and I gave you their home page. HSD is their own brand, and they sold under the name HSD in Europe, Driftworks in Australia, and sold under Stance here. Supposedly Stance are no longer made there, or at least are made to different specs now, but they, at least at one point, came from the same place. Kei-office (now DG5) are made there as well. It just so happens, Stance's new XR lineup are DG5 coilovers with a different lower mount, iirc.
Tried and tested is simply because a lot of people run them, and they've become the standard, and they "do the job". But when you take a full range of quality products like Moton/Koni/Penske, suddenly the cheap budget coilovers turn out to be crap, which they are, relatively speaking. If you simply take the standard of what the typical person runs on their slammed car, then yeah, they're decent at best.
