:gtpflag: RACEDAY ALERT!!! :gtpflag:

This week in the Marathon of Madness: Grand Touring Cars!! Probably the most looked forward to of the bunch. Hope to see you all tonight!

Week 3 (GT) | 10/23/18
Bathurst | Dubai GP | Mugello GP | SPA Historic
  • A - 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Longtail (GT1)
  • B - 2012 BMW M3 GT4 (GT4)
  • C - 1977 Porsche 935/77 (Group 5)
  • D - 1971 Ford Escort MK1 Racing (Vintage GT B)

Oh ye can't wait for this one :).

Did some practicing last night and was trying to figure out the car to track placement, and so far, this is what I'm thinking:

Escort - Bathurst
McLaren - Mugello
BMW GT4 - Dubai
Porche 935/77 - Spa Historic

This still may change as Mugello and Dubai are interchangeable for the McLaren, and I feel the GT4 car may work well at Bathurst..

Well, all in all, another exciting series of races to look forward to tonight:gtpflag: .

Fun night last night! I loved the balance with the F1 and 935. Massively different cars, but in the right hands, can take down the other on the right track. Too bad not many could make it, but their loss! We can't let @SGETI get away! Let's get sneaky with our picks for next week... LMPS!

Not sure how I managed a 4th place finish seeing that I was going up against (Spaghetti Monster):D AKA @SGETI in 2 of the races? Great time though!!

How was the night? I wish I lived in an earlier time zone. It sucks not being at the start of Tuesday night events. DROP me from the invite list. Maybe in the future.

I'm in the same boat, just work at 3AM like me and you can make it. :D Sorry bud.

Tonight is the final week of the Marathon of Madness!! Various LMPs ready to go at tracks we can wind them out! Hope everyone can make it!

Week 4 (LMP) | 10/30/18
SPA | LeMans Historic | Silverstone GP | Fuji
  • A - 2014 Toyota TS040 Hybrid (LMP1)
  • B - 2002 Audi R8 (LMP900)
  • C - 1988 Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo (Group C)
  • D - 1967 Ferrari 330 P4 (Vintage Prototype B)

Great night. Great series! So happy those who made it really seemed to enjoy it. Think we'll be using that format in the future for sure.

Congrats to @SGETI for taking the series win!! That was based on the scoring I stuck to when the series was announced. Disclaimer, my numbers were a little off when I mentioned them after the race, but the results ended up the same due to the tiebreaker between @bigtimedave and myself being the last race results.

If you are interested in the 'alternate' scoring used in the TopGear night, you can check that out in the spoilers.

Anyways, thank you a bunch for those who made it out. Who is ready for Radicals?!?! 👍

I think i'm having a seizure looking at all those different colours.
Last nights B and C choices seemed competitive, future series? ;)

Yeah I probably could have done a better job not making it so busy. But it was easier for me to go by colors.

Someone in the forums posted a post of all the classes and how they compare. I didn’t go by that but should have. Some cool pairings.

Could I be added to the drivers list please. The wife has not given permission yet, but I'll just gently disappear to the rig as much as I can on Tuesday nights. Friday nights should be a bit better except for when we run our SNAIL Invitational Race once a month.

Awesome dude! You got it. I'll send out an invite for Tuesdays, if you can make it cool, if not, no big deal. Fridays it is most likely myself or our buddy @Mike Lobban hosting just randomness. Glad you'd like to join us!

Boy did I have a lot of catch up reading to do...stupid mail did not advise me of new posts.
Anyhow I really enjoyed the older cars and vintage tracks. And wtf?... podium finish...wooohooo!..and what a close finish. Only a few points separating. Good racing everyone!.

:gtpflag: RACEDAY ALERT!! :gtpflag:

Tonight we begin the 2nd Totally Radical Series!! We’ll stop at Sugo and Algarve in these super-rad rides.

Remember, only 2 of each livery, and if you happen to finish next to your teammate... extra points!! :D

See you tonight.

Lol:lol:
Are you still looking for drivers for the lobby?

Of course! Anyone who would like to join may do so. We might have some returning drivers and new ones tonight. Not expecting a full lobby, so shouldn't be a problem to get a bud in.

Awesome night! Sorry about the brainfarts during qualifying and the wrong weather settings. But some ultra quick times and good battles! @coltsjugg rode on @CB_racer 's coattails and they both snagged some bonus points to keep it tight! Hope others grasp the concept. I think myself and @potvinsuks might have to share a trailer for a couple weeks. Great racing bud!
