Yes tonight, as in invites will go out in about 2 hours for 45min Qualifying. I used to have weird times too, but changed something in my settings.

Cool! Sorry for the confusion yesterday. Probably stay away from the Ferrari and BMW. The Aston and Porsche are competitive, but I think the Ford and Corvette are favored.

Reminder, this is for the penultimate round of the Wold Enduro Series! 1.5HR race at Daytona Road Course on NEW YEARS DAY! Just be sure your pitcrew is not too hungover!

45 Minute Practice race will be held Sunday 12/30. Practice/Qualifying opens at 8PM EST, Race will start at 8:45. All are welcome, whether you are guaranteed a spot below or not.

I'll almost always use the default date for the season. The default date for spring I believe is 3/1, or for the EU wankers, 1/3.

Happy New Year!! Happy Hangover! Take that cold shower, chug that coffee and get something greasy in your belly to sober up for tonight! Or don't.

Tonight we head to the penultimate round of the SRM World Enduro Series, which takes us to Daytona! Looks like most everyone has chosen a class, but you can still change if you have picks available.

ONE CHANGE: Lobby will still open for qualifying @ 7:30EST, but the start of the race will pushed to 9PM from the normal 8:30 start. Expect this to be the case for the last race @ Bathurst as well.

We also have a spot or maybe 2 open, so even if you are not on the list, I might be able to get you in. It's possible at least one of the priority reserves makes an appearance as well. See you all tonight!

I had the same misfortune as @HazardLvL4, started raining right on my way out of my second pit stop. I thought that with less than 20 min to go the weather would be set. What am I missing here? 4 slots, 90 min, 22.5 min per slot??

It was on a progression, not sync to race. So the 4 weather slots actually cycled twice. The first time though the random slot was medium clouds, the second time to end the race was fog with rain.

It turned out like that N24 race a couple years ago, where they raced for 23.5 hours, and then rain hit, the guys in 4th who pit before it got too crazy won.

That’s racing. If it was predictable it wouldn’t be fun.

I will say that the next race at Bathurst will be pretty straight forward weather wise. We have enough to worry about not crashing out.

Everything on this game can be figured to a "T" as long as we know the settings ahead of time. Just takes a little math. I had messaged Bear last night the exact minutes both Random slots would hit. It's all fairly simple really. If there was way that every thing from weather to time slots, to progression slots.....everything.......could be random.....then that would be fun. I enjoy this type of racing. I do this type of racing every week. To me this is a normal race with multiple pit stops.....not an Endurance Race. If we can ever get a 4+ hour race going I'll be here with bells on.

I don't mind the random weather at all, actually I like it. Figuring out strategies on the fly just adds to the fun element.

My problem was not knowing this very important detail about the weather slots. Lesson learned.... or so I hope...

They are working on something. But with everything else they are working on, I have no idea what they are actually focused on or trying to accomplish.

The fact that they mentioned "Shift", "Less sandbox, More fun" ect makes me nervous. I know they backed it up saying they wont be going backward, so thats a bit of a relief. The whole SMS on-again-off-again relationship with the community is what really bothers me though. They are either hyping what they are working on at ultimate levels, or telling the community they don't know what they really want.

I don't want buzz words. All I want to hear is that pCars 3 will be better, more refined and have more content. Will 1000% buy.

Bro you see what happend to gran turismo. They traded in damage and weather for turn signals and custom liveries. Both of which do not add to the racing experience. All n all seems like they are pushing us simulation guys to PC.

Developers don't make money off of us, they make money on the "casual gamers".

PC2 still has plenty of life in it (providing there are working servers). Here is to hoping that the "not going backwards" is a good thing. Only time will tell I suppose. It would suck to have to go into the world of not having a sim game option on console. If that happens then maybe PC will be the next step.

I have already accepted that in the next year or two PC is probably where I will end up for sim racing.
