This thing is beginning to look good, I like the looks of the base and rims

I do too very clean look. Recently bought my first DD (used most of my credit card in the process) so the price of this base/rim combo has me feeling a bit dizzy.

I believe there is a reason some companies to choose stepper mottor, SimXperience is not noob company - on opposite...I believe some developments find stepper motors better, there is no other explanation...even stepper motor used is 30$ cheaper than the servo motor - I doubt that the company will decide to choose this saving over the better motor, when the price tag is big enough to handle it...

You guys actually trust stuff that comes from China? Just wondering not putting them down, my experience is that most of their stuff (from China) is limited life cycle and then dispose. At $800 bones that is pretty high.
Good luck finding products that are not made in China

Alpha Direct Drive Wheel Base.

Not enough with other direct drive systems? Want to invest in sim racing? Alpha is what you need.

Alpha uses servo motor optimized for sim racing, provides more torque response and detail for cars and tracks.

Comparing with the stepper motor, the servo motor is able to maintain high torque under high wheel speed. This is critical especially when force is applied on the wheel and fast rotation is happening, such as saving the car after corner.

Alpha is our advance sim racing wheelbase for sim racing enthusiasts. It has up to 15 Nm torque for competitive sim racing.

6-8 Nm is what usual people found enough for sim racing, the remaining 7-9 Nm is able to best minimize the force feedback clipping, reflect the sudden change for force feedback.

Enthusiasts can also crank up the stand by torque to simulate real-world steering without the power steering.

Following our successful predecessor M10 DDW, Alpha completed our professional race drivers tests, making it one of the best sim racing wheelbase in the market.

Alpha will be your firm foundation for your sim racing needs. Not only that, it can be your ultimate tool for real-world car racing. After all, it was proved by professional race drivers, so could you.

Start your racing career today, sim racing or real racing.
