The game was supposed to be released on 2018. We had more screenshots in early 2017. The tweet talking of discussions regarding the release date has NFS Heat and Forza 7 pics.

This is getting worse.

If i remember right Pcars 1 had 3 release dates over 3 years... SMS had promised and not delivered a couple times... SimBinUK has nothing promised until now so just be patient... Give them the time they need... And tbh they don´t need to post anything on social media...

So, SMS did something similar and that excuses Simbin from offering unrealistic expectations? No to mention the situation it's not even similar. GTR3 was announced on 2011, when SMS was making NFS games. This is closely getting worse than The Last Guardian.

And no they don't have to post anything on the social media or be serious when they communicate with costumers. As a matter of fact, they could release the game without telling anyone. But of course, the game wouldnt be selling a lot...

They need us because expectations and marketing campaign it's essential on the success of a game. And it's not a matter of "they have to" or "they own us", but you can't ask people to take them seriously or say this is something normal.

It was announced in 2011 and then dead until January 2017... So SimBinUK was founded and startet working on GTR3...

Look at AMS2...announced several months ago, but they already showed us some gameplay video and told us some details on the upcoming game. SimBin doesn't need to do that, but I won't get hyped by some very dubious photos.

Its not in development for 8 years... As said before it was dead for over 5 years... SimBinUK brought it back to life and first news was 2017...

Maybe they are going to surprise us with groundbreaking ultra-futuristic and realistic sim technology.

I get that games take time, but in modern times it seems very odd to have a game announced this long in the past and have so little information. To be at this stage and have the only concrete thing be the title is very worrying. At this point it seems like we should have a pretty definite release window, lots of screenshots and a pretty good idea of what the games features are. Instead we have a handful of screenshots, a mention of it being a WEC game (despite not featuring in any of the screenshots) and a status saying they're still working on getting a release window.

It was a fail post on Twitter from a company that works with SimBinUK... So i doubt its true about WEC... So pls don´t talk about like it was officially announced as a WEC game...

You guys should just read the Interview at RD again...

If anything that makes them look worse. You can't blame people for latching onto rumours when you don't give them any alternative. We've seen this time and time again, mainly with PD, and it only winds up creating a problem down the road since people will be expecting something completely different because the developer was never clear about what was actually in the game.

I'm definitely not holding my breath about this being the case but if the game taking this long means we actually get a full, complete game upon release, it would make a hugely refreshing change from half-arsing a game, releasing the beta as the launch product to get a quick release time and "updating" it afterwards.

Yum. Nothing wrong with those Screenshots, R8, 911 and Continental along with the Nurburgring confirmed there. Blancpain licensed maybe? Would seem odd as ACC has that already. Are those cars in WEC?
None of those cars are in WEC, because WEC uses GTE cars, not GT3. Nurburgring is also not part of the current WEC calendar
