So my Simetik cockpit arrived a few days ago and wow for the money this thing has exceeded all my expectations then some. I have a playseat and an obutto revolution so I have a baseline to put these simulators against each other. If anyone here is planning to buy a new rig anytime soon I'd tell them to forget about any other rig and buy a simetik I promise you'll not regret it. If anyone wants pictures just let me know.

Thats basically what I built. I had an old rocker gaming seat that I used, I also had an old race car seat but I figured the gaming seat was comfortable enough. Maybe some day I will put a nice seat on it. My main goals when building besides fitting me perfect were that I would not accept steering wheel mount flex and I didnt want a center post. I hit both of my goals. Since Im a metal fabricator if I decide to add a shifter or a nicer seat none of that will be very difficult. It took me about 10-12 hours to build it. Majority is 1.00" x .065' wall 4130 tubing.

That looks really good, I guess you just add your own seat of choice?

Thank you. When I decide on a different seat I will simply fabricate new mounts for it.
My kid also has a Fanatec, he plays Forza, he does not a PS4, but he wants one of these too now. He made one out of wood but its heavy and not real stable.
