I like it too đź‘Ť, captain's log june ......

I think the opponent adjust to the maximum available tire we have. I don't buy any tire when racing. I think of this because my car definitely faster in corner, I always have faster corner exit speed, so the opponent must be using normal tire too, as my faster cornering is the result of car tuning. I try mugen civic too, it can keep up, 3rd place is easy to get. On midfield 1st place is easy.

Midfield is always easier than Seattle or Laguna. That's why on my webpage the pound to power ratio for Midfield is higher.

Your P2P system is fairly accurate đź‘Ť, I use gts25 that have P2P 8.49 (no muffler and no R mods, normal tires) in Apricott Hill and have equal battle :).

Yeah, it works, no doubt about that. :) I try to calculate those numbers by doing a GT Regional race in which at least 2 laps will be close with traffic, and you'll spend your third lap battling with the leader, hopefully. But this is on hard, medium, or soft tires. It is very possible to win (I'm not trying to make winning TOO hard) but your heart rate should be higher by the end of the race.

It's funny though, I've been going thru GT3 these past few months, and whenever I come back to do three GT2 Regionals in a row, I'll lose at least one of them! :D

Simulation tires were great for drifting in GT3 so I wonder if simulation tires has the same affect in GT2 when drifting.
feels like GT4 drift for me.

I see, I guess it's easier with normal tire then. I lead the pack before even the big dunlop gate at the first lap. I came up second because I goof up few times :dopey:. You should try with normal tire too, do it without buying other tire.

The fun thing in Apricott hill is when the RUF BTR always took the corner too fast, overtake you, but end up struggle in dirt, the TVR is smarter, though I always faster in corner :). I just hate those tight corner that gives the opponent the opportunity to bump kiss us, a little kiss from the opponent can send us to grass :ouch:.

I hate it too when you spend time getting that perfect corner angle and the AI has to tap you and force you to rethink the entire plan. In GT3 I've noticed it's even worse--I swear in some of the tougher races, the AI actually uses YOU as a brake, as if to say “oh, he's slowing down and right in front of me...guess I don't need to try stopping anymore” BAM! Now you're all messed up.
