Since update 1.17...

...all fitted brake calipers on every car are now lime green, and cannot be changed.

Well done PD, so well done!
I know man....it's a bloody piss take....I thought I've been just tripping the past few weeks when using liveries... thought maybe it was just a coincidence....then...I went to do a design for one of my cars....and yeah...as soon as I even LOOKED at another Colour, it changed it!!! I didn't even have to select the damn thing...just preview it!!!....it's a piss take man....I ALWAYS colour co-ordinate my cars with body colour and calipers aswell as mirror and cage....so I'm NOT happy as it just ruins it 😢

This is odd. All my other cars have lime calipers but I just changed the brakes on the Miata and it stays red.

Edit : I also can change the colours instead of bugged like other cars.

If you don't change the paint on the car, brake calliper colour works as normal. Only if you paint the car, the callipers bug appears
No it doesn't in my case. The other cars I only installed the racing brakes and they automatically painted in lime green.

I have stopped making liveries and visually customising my cars, and also taking photos, because of this glitch. This is the reason why my GT7 photo thread is temporarily dead. Thanks PD

Update : Okay so some of my cars that I installed with upgraded brakes yesterday also don't have this bug. I can change the caliper colors too.

Ditto, checking back here daily in hopes it's fixed.

NGL, this is super frustrating... especially since PD likely won't bother to fix for a month. Seriously kills the beauty of the game by ruining the part I mostly look forward to after a race... The Replay as well as non-Scape race photos :(

Not even gonna bother with the alternative of switching to the lesser rotors with upgraded pads as muscle memory is down to a T with brake zones around the slotted rotors & Calipers.

I fully agree. I love visually upgrading my cars and do a lot of liveries for them. This bug has stopped me doing all of it. I am slowly coming back to it though and try to work around it. Like in the last photos I posted here I have re-coloured the callipers in Photoshop. How can they leave a horrible bug like that unfixed for a month is beyond me.

Hopefully the July 5/6 maintenance addresses it 🤞

He's back !!

For the last update PD also mess with the gearbox settings.
Only a small range of ratios numbers is available.
Because of this , if you can't reach a given speed on any given individual gear due to this limitation , you'll have to perform the famous old TRANSMISSION FLIP. Just like GT4 /5 /6.........

So for people who don't know this trick , to able a larger range of your gearbox.

-Final gear to the max full right
-Top speed minimum full left
-Set final gear till the top speed you want for the last gear
-Set every individual gear the way you need.

Back to the future.
