fair enough. i found turning down the lsd on everything except rear acceleration helps in almost all cars. also turning down camber on the rear and increasing the spring rate helps to settle everything out.
talking about tyres i just put T3's (i think) onto the skyline listed above and it was great. seems the car is set up as good as i would have hoped
i know what u mean about the 4wd's straitening out too quickly, esp if they have a poor setup. sometimes its hard to even turn the damn thing, (ahem, CTR2, ahem). though some of my favourite drift manoevres are when i turn into the corner and then hit the accelerator and the car remains sideways without any input from the steering. u can do that with my new skyline. in fact the car will even straiten itself out towards the end of the turn if u have done it right.
quite, i worked that out today. i love the way that car looks, thought with a little modification it could handle really well but no. it still understeers like hell, even with the vcd down to 10% and rear camber at 0.0. i think the problem is the engine in the back is creating too much 'downforce'. i hope it doesn't handle like that in real life.Originally posted by bondy_1625
duhh shouldve posted this a while ago and i mightve created a thread on it but anyway ive found a way to get the ctr2 turning slightly better! 💡 buy the vcd and set it to as little on the front as poss so 10% and itll turn (slightly) more like a rwd car, it really works!!

do u have to tap the e-brake while drifting??

nope.
the second skyline setup in this thread that i posted (page 2 i think) is set up so that the car will start drifting under deceleration only. come into a corner at high speed, hit the brakes and then start turning the wheel, all 4 wheels should lose grip and then its up to you to control it.
if u master that you have 4 wheel drifting, which is the best form you can have
hope that helps

Actually, that is incorrect.... That is not a 4 Wheel Drift. What you have described is 4WD/AWD drifting.... A 4 Wheel Drift is an advanced grip technique which utilizes a slight slip angle to maximise the amount of grip put down by the tires, and to achieve a faster entry and exit speed.....

u didn't really describe the drift there... all i said was u lose grip on all 4 tyres. rather than keeping the front ones more or less on track and have the rear spinning madly.
and anyway, it doesnt really matter what u call it as long as you enjoy it
