Skyline GT-R V-Spec II Problems

I drive a skyline gt-r v-spec II. It has 623 Horsepower on a stage 3 turbo kit. I put a racing muffler and air cleaner in it, i gave it a port polish, a twin plate clutch, a racing flywheel, a semi-racing transmission, and a racing intercooler. When I race I can get it up to like 134 MPH in gear 6 and then it drops to like 128, back up to 134, then back down to 128, it's continous and annoying. On a 623 HP skyline I should be going faster than 134 MPH and shouldn't get the problem of my speed dropping like I am. If anyone knows any settings or tunings for this car to make it its best or to stop my problem please respond. Thanks, I appreciate it. :banghead:

What was happening was that the car was hitting its rev limiter because the gearing was too short. Top gear in the racing trans is usually taller, which lets the car go faster before it hits redline.

The easiest way to adjust the gearing is move the auto setting slider until the upshift light is just blinking as you reach the braking point of the longest straightaway when you are in top gear. You'll have to check this for every track until you get a feel for it.

im not quite getting that concept of the red light on the straightaway and that stuff, so when i install the racing trans i adjust the setting to what?

There's a little red light near the digital speedometer that flashes when you should upshift, indicating you're getting near redline.

If that's flashing when you're in top gear, there's no other gear to shift up to, so that means you're getting near the maximum speed the car will go at that setting. So you adjust the Autosetting slider until the car hits that point at the end of the longest straight on the track.

It will be different, at least a little, for every track.

Ok i got the full racing transmission i set it to level 42 wide and i go into the beginning of gear 6 at 200 mph but dont go any farther than 204 MPH in gear 6 and thats at the begginning of gear 6 that I hit 204 MPH and don't go much faster. Anyone know better settings for this car that I can use. I eventually plan on puttin the lvl 4 turbo kit into the car, but at my lvl 3 turbo kit what should my trans be set to? OH AND BY THE WAY MY SKYLINE IS R34,J

if i were to set it to a level like that it would disable my speed from going as fast as it can, id be goin 100 somethin in gear 6 and it would redline and drop me down a few MPH's and that annoys me, for races on like test course track i guess id use 42 wide, and for curvy tracks im most likely gonna use a setting like 27 or 29, later.

Ok I really like my skyline but I can not figure out a way to make this damn car not oversteer or overdrift, i have full customizable suspension and all that crap and ive tried all diff. settings but with no success if anyone knows a solution for my handling problems plz let me know, thanks.

For oversteering and stabilazation you will need to adjust the LSD controller, I have the same Skyline as you but I dont wanna tell you my exact setting becuase it differs with each driving style.
You will need to read about the LSD Initial Torque, the LSD Acceleration and LSD Deaceleration.
Each of them plays an important part in the car's stability and they can also affect your speed.

For example:

The LSD Acceleration determins the amount of power propelling the car when exiting turns.
if you set it too high, the car will get too powerfull and therefore oversteer and slide around.
You need to find the balanced point between the front and rear, becuase your car is powerful its recommended to set the rear to about 20-25 and the front to 45-50.

You also should set the spring rate to higher levels if you want your car to turn in a stabilized way, raising the spring rates means that you are increasing the pressure which is being applied on your tyres, and that will make your car more stable and controlable.
Also get Sports Breaks, Break Balance Controller, ASM, TCS and VCD System.
Strengthening the TCS will mean that your car will be more stable when turning but it will cost you in acceleration, but if you have a powerful car that shouldnt be a problem, so feel free to set it to about 6-7.
Break Stabilizers can be set to about 18-20.

Also for the oversteer, change the Stabilizer in the suspension costumization to a level which fits you most.
You will need to find the Angel of the Camber which fits you most and also the TOE.
Rideheight is also important, set it to a low level for maximum control, but not the lowest, 88-90 is enough

After youve completed all of these purchases and mods get Super Soft Racing Tires.

Test Drive your car, you will notice its gonna be easier to drive and you will have much more control.
If You still feel that the car is oversteering a bit, you will need to suit the suspension and breaks to the levels which suite you.

Hope I Helped.

P.S

Once Youve bought all the Engine modifications and equipped your car with a Turbo 4, you will have 1070HP and the widest gearing level should get you to about 392 kmph.
At least thats what I got.
