Skyline Tune tips

For some reason I can not get my Skyline(s) tuned well in GT3. They all like to continue turning on the exit from corners and it does not want to turn well otherwise. My Skyline(s) are all fully modded. Could you all help me out by posting your Skyline settings?

Thank You

You're not the only one w/problems on turning the Skyline.

Don't let anyone on here tell you that you don't know how to tune it or turn it, it's not you. I have messed with the ride height, shock bound, shock rebound, camber angle, all that good stuff, and my Skylines still continue through turns and slide extremely bad. They suck, move on to the RUF CTR2.

Heh, I know what you mean. The Skylines have been impossible to tune. I have every single one of my other cars tuned to handle like the Super cars in the arcade mode but, the Skylines are the ones giving me the most trouble.

I was very disappointed when I was doing the license test, and I drove the skyline for the first time. I was like, um, isn't it supposed to turn or what...?

It's a good car in straight line acceleration though, so if you use it in races, and screw up on turns, just use that haul a__ straight line ability to catch up and pass 'em on those long straight a ways. That's what I do with my Skyline GTR V-Spec II whenever I use it.

A lot of people on here love the Skyline, but it just ain't my cup-o-tea. :D

In the original GT and in GT2 the Skyline handled quite well when tuned properly. It is my favorite car in the game. If I can't get it tuned, I may have to change that...

I got to watch a skyline (r33) at an autocross one day last year, and let me tell you, they REALLY dont look like they handle all that well.  Four people driving all got slower times than a Saturn SL2.  (the saturn driver is the best I have ever seen, but it's still embarassing)

The super racing skylines handle considerably better because of the added downforce, but still arent all that super.

One tuning tip.  Try getting one of those Gearbox do-jobs that allows you to adjust power to each wheel.  I use 80 rear, 20 front.  At high speeds, RWD cars handle better, but the 20% up front is enough to stabilize you so you can turn off ASM and TCS.  (this will help a lot)  Stiffen your springs a little and loosen your stabilizers if you are sliding.

the racing skylines are so much better because they aren't 4WD, you'll notice that they are FR. I really suggest using the Loctite Zexel GT-R. It is the second most powerful car in the game besides the F1's.
