I really don't understand why people complain about having more choices as opposed to less. To each their own I guess. :P

Instead of having 20-30 (estimated guess) of the same car they could have put 20-30 other cars from different manufacturers into the game to take its place.

GT4 still has plenty of space left on it's dual layer DVD. They could've fit another 100 cars in easily. Don't hate on the Skylines for it, complain to PD.

If people are going to complain about the Skylines, why not complain about the Imprezas and Lancer Evos too?

Because it's an imbalance of way too many of one make & model. Give me more Mustangs, PD, please. Give me more older Beetles. I love Skylines, but it wouldn't..

..ah.....enough complaining.... It gets old complaining about the same stuff over and over.

I'm gonna vote with slowman on this one. To suggest there could have been another 20 or 30 models is a bit absurd; consider the amount of time it would take to research and test and model a car for GT4. It's much easier to change the suspension and call it an *-spec, or even just paint the bloody thing and call it Midnight Purple, and there you have a 'new' car in the game without the enormous expence of doing a really new car.

If there were 20 fewer Skylines (or Imprezas etc) in the game there would be 20 fewer cars. So to really turn this argument on its head, we should be thankful that there are so many Skylines etc because we have more cars in the game, even if we choose not to use them.

like V6 Camaros and Mustangs, Pintos and El Caminos..?
NO how about Lamborghini or Porshe. Nahh I guess its better to have 20-30 Skylines right? :sly: And btw I dont have any hate for the SKylines at all. I like them a lot as I stated above. But having that many of a specific model never made sense to me. I wouldnt want to see that many of any model car.

I drove it's cousin, A Cortina/Taunus that had just as unsafe fueltank location. although, I was more afraid that it would roll over at 25mph than it bursting into a fiery ball of flames.. because it had so much electric gremlins that it would just kill the battery if I left it onboard. although, it could had done both, roll over AND burst into flames.. :nervous: hence why I sold it to a willing fool who was charmed by the fairly boxlike coupe chassis and RWD. :sly: I slept my nights well after that.

I'd say the 2001 GT-R R35 Concept. I love the way Skylines punch WELL above their weight. In fact, the GT-R R33 was the first COMPLETELY STOCK car to get round the Nurburgring in under 8 minutes.

Nope, it was the R33. Before I sold a good chunk of my brochure collection, I had an original UK 1995 leather-bound Skyline GT-R brochure and it details all the Nurburgring stuff.

I regret selling that collection even though I did pretty well on it.

That Is correct. However, I did beat that time a long time ago in stock R32. The lack of fear element does wonders.

What do I think about skylines ?
There are waaaaaaaay too many of them.

Same here. :indiff:

My thoughts about Skylines is that they are somehow overrated. Forget F&F, and all that. A stock Skyline R34 isn't precisely the best car in the game, or one of the best for that matter. The weight is well above the outpout of the car. I'd stick with a Corvette Z06, but it's all on personal preference.

I'm looking forward to drive the GT-R in GT5. 👍

If you read this, you have to buy me a PS3.

Probably it was, considering all the victories it got. But I don't find it much more interesting than any muscle car out there, that made you work with the car instead of letting it do most of the things for you ---> Nissan GT-R.
