Snail stickers for footwell? Trying to get a YouTube started. Snail, that’s my roots. I want to show the world who we are.

I’m hooked up with a bunch of dudes working for NASCAR. Made a lot of connections, man. Short track guys too.

These guys are liking my ideas. I’m trying to get a Network going. It’s time for me to give back. Can anyone help me out??

P.S. maybe a t-shirt?? Size large?? Light Grey since it’s been 100°?? Lol

You'd need to contact @zer05ive to get any SNAIL swag.

My PC is trying to die. It would be good if someone stepped up for score keeping for the immediate future. Also, would any other D2 drivers like to try hosting.

Along the hosting subject, I think it would be a better experience for all if someone located as near to the south central US as possible take up hosting. They should have somewhere in the neighborhood of a 300/100, or better, connection.

In the testing Tex, Marcus and I did it seems that all rooms, public or friends only, are set up as a "fixed host" to some degree and, it's entirely probable that all traffic goes through the host on its way to everyone else. This increases the time it takes to get to everyone. Even with Tex's 1GB/1GB connection out there in TX I noticed jitter and packet loss from every car last Sunday. This wasn't the case when Oshawa and I hosted. Some were noticeably worse than others and if you want to see what I saw, let me know and I'll share my replays.

At any rate, after spending most of the evening rebuilding my PC's OS and base app installations, after it BSODing for the last several days, thankfully, I was able to back up my data a couple nights back, before it finally tanked completely when I got home this afternoon. It's been stable since the OS re-install. We'll see if it lasts.

Looks like I'm going to miss out on the daily marathon ticket tonight too. :( Probably get another crappy 3 star anyway.

You'll need to walk me through it, but I have a laptop I can use for scores.
Message @Akzl298 and give him a Google account email he can set permissions for. For scores you just need total time of first place, fast lap for whomever got it, finish positions for everyone, for each race and votes for everyone that does vote.

Also a good idea to get screenshot of results. Easier to enter data from those. If more than 8 drivers, you have to get 2 screenshots for each race that has more than eight. In game results only shows 8 drivers per page.

Looks like Tex will unavailable to host tonight. Either Oshawa or I will stand up the room tonight.

I have a feeling some left prior to R3 because they didn't like it. The car is very challenging without TC.

I'm pretty new to all of this and I'm just not very good with group 3s. I have to use abs and tc 1 for most cars, until I feel comfortable. I didn't get much time with the combo but the little I did, we would have all been life flighted lol.

Thought I'd mention, not sure if anything besides Oshawa boosting his service changed but, I didn't notice the usual lag jitters and packet loss last night. Be a better test if we had closer to a full room.

I also performed the weekly Network maintenance before opening the lobby...

Sunday Pre-race Network/PS/GT7 Maintenance

1) Clear GT7 Network Cache
2) Close game and shutdown PS
3) Turn off/disconnect all devices using home network
4) Power down router
5) Restart Modem
6) After modem has finished restart, power up router.
7) After router restart complete, power up PS
8) Run PS network connection test, if test normal next step, if not begin from step 1
9) Launch GT7
10) Go to Sport Mode and run connection test there, if normal go to multiplayer and find and join lobby. If not normal go back to step 1

I really would love to help with the league. However, my current place in life barely allows me time to to drive Sundays. I have to miss race night do to chronic pain, or I couldn't get any practice time. I'm very new, Dec 23 for GT7, Mar 24 with wheel and pedals. Which has SO MANY VARIBLES that can go wrong. Before this, I hadn't played a driving game since GT2 lol, and never with wheel and pedals. . I'm retired military and even at 49, my body condition is comparable to Joe Biden lol. I'm just now comfortable enough to do the weekly races. Got my first podium in race C last night. Thanks for everyone's patience and mentorship within this world.
