I don’t think rolling starts are that bad. Yea they are a little stretched out, but in some cases that could help calm down a little bit of the first corner pile ups.

They can be a little toooo stretched out and starting in the middle of the turn in the wrong gear is more of a disaster sometimes than the first turn pile up. I rather take my chances in the first turn pile up any day. Even if it ruins my race. Besides, catering to weakness' don't make you better. lol

CONFORMED!!!

I will not have a practice room up tonight. I’m running out monthly series in ARL

Closed. We’ve got 16. I’ll open the lobby in 20 minutes. Qually starts at 9 and we will have 10 minutes of qually, with a 5 minute break. We will start the final at 9:15.

Just got home and not feeling very well, so I won't be racing tonight, sorry for the late notice.

I'm so annoyed with myself man. I think I must have put 3 times in the final 20 minutes. Kept second guessing myself and misjudging fuel needed to the end and which tires I should be on. I really suck at that. I could have probably done 1 stop to finish, but it was pure panic. I need to find a way to improve on that.

Great racing though. You guys are awesome and thanks for allowing me to join.

That was a lot of fun too. The 4 of us were on 3-4 different strategies. I had a bad start that forced my hand. Got damage where I shouldn’t have. Wish I started off stronger in the beginning, or atleast running with you 3 when I pitted. i Pushed the entire race, I was completely wore out at the end. Excellent job everyone. I really like that track.

The first page of the thread has been updated! See you all next week at monza.

I struggled out to start the race then after the first couple pit stops I feel into a great flow of things. I didn't think once about strategy until about 24 or so minutes to go. I figured i would try to make it a one stop race and pit with 12 minutes to go. Once I seen @Timlour pit with about 17 minutes to go is when I started to second guess my self, but I held out ran two 9 lap stints in the closing laps which was scary in its own way.

That had to be the most mental endurance race I have ever been apart of. I was trying to watch the strategies of the top 4 and see how it played out.

The formula for final points total is wrong, I can’t make that formula until all the races are in. Please disregard that total.

Bah, you see how bad I am at races with more than 25 laps right? Lol That is what's great about the 90 min race, it's a good learning tool.

It is very hard for me to get back into my rhythm if I have to pit every 6 laps for tires. The fuel in the 911 was actually pretty good but I think it's a little due to its gearing. There were two turns on that track that were really slow compared to everybody else because neither 1st or 2nd gear was good to be in but 2nd was "better" but was boggy as hell. But man, tires were 2 to 3 seconds slower for me after 4-6 laps. I am not that quick at getting my rhythm down, for sure something to work on.

On the very first pitstop when I followed all you guys in I noticed I had plenty of fuel so fuel was never an issue for me. Lol

Agreed. It's a great learning tool. Folks are going to start thinking I follow @Herimopp89 and @Neutty like a lost puppy lol, but I try to stick with them to challenge myself and learn...and it works. I was amazed I could keep up with Heri after the first stop. It wasn't easy being sandwiched between Heri and Tim. That self doubt though, that's the real problem.

Yeah I bet! I got in front of Heri I think for about a lap and that was it until he came around to lap me....and then lap me again.
