I taught myself how to shift without a clutch and did so without harming anything so that's cool. Also, after getting home from work, the most perfect miata was parked next door. Black, OEM hardtop, lip spoiler, lowered a bit, and RPF1s. Beautiful

 the description sounds beautiful!!

Lost my neighbor to heart attack. He was 88 and served in both WW2 and Korea. Not the best of days. Gonna help his wife the next few weeks.

Day was pretty good, though the most interesting part was that I took the Lexus on the freeway for the first time and drove about twenty miles home from where we were at. Even from the driver's seat there's very little connection to the road; other than being in charge of the gas and steering and stuff it's not that different from being the passenger, whereas in the Mini it's a big difference between driving and being passenger. Was a very easy trip, not much traffic being nighttime but enough to be an engaging drive. Fastest I went was eighty without knowing at first, slowest was sixty but to be honest I felt no difference. Virtually noise-free the entire time, though you do get a sort of deep, very muted bassy V8 note that's not obvious, but if you're paying attention you can hear it a little. Really nice drive overall, can't wait to go out again. :dopey:

Everyday we lose more and more. His service will never be forgotten. Make sure you remind his wife of this. I hope the best for her and the rest of their family, and hope you are ok as well. My condolensces.

Slow, it was a very slow day. Didn't do much. Errand, internet, television, made lunch, fell asleep watching "haven".

Today has actually been quite depressing.

For one, I have drum line tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. It is state finals weekend and I'm stressing out like you couldn't believe. And this isn't even world finals, it's just state. I think I'm gonna be overwhelmed by this weekend.

I have been watching a show called "The Moto", and it's about the lives of professional motocross racers. I thought it would be a very upbeat happy show, buy absolutely not. There are so many sad stories of these riders growing up, some whose parents pushed them so hard that they don't talk. One family had to sell their family farm so the kid could become a pro. It is really sad how much the riders and their parents go through for motocross. Plus, they have the stress of possible financial collapse. Almost none of them graduated high school because they always traveled to ride and become pro, but if they don't have results, no one will hire them and they will literally have nothing to do because we all know how impossible a job is to get in these days, even with a college education. But to not even graduate high school! It would be terrible.

So I've been very down all day.

I had a test yesterday and today. Didnt sign in to GTP in 2 days :scared: . Trashed 2 full edited photomode sets. Dont feel good.

Pretty bad so far.
I woke up trying to play Bad Company 2, but for some reason the disc wouldn't read so I turned the disc over and see 1 big scratch and cracks in the center. I will get to the bottom to this. :grumpy:
And, as if me having broken game disc wasn't enough, my GT5 data somehow got erased, backup and everything. Back to square one. :grumpy:

So great! Got 2nd at a state finals for drum line! It's a huge turnaround from our past competitions. This is possibly my happiest day involving music ever.

Not so good, fighting a good bout of depression and trying to keep my mind off it by cleaning. Almost running out of things to clean...

Well, it has been a mixed day .. To start off, my dad's car got stolen, so that means that I won't be able to see him mid-week like always, and also no more driving for me.

Then, I've been chatting all day long with the girl I have a crush on, and it looks (might be only my mind) that she's trying to hit on me. Also I hit 700 posts here!

And, tomorrow I'm returning school from Spring break (?) And for some reason I feel stressed.

Finally I have an horrible stomach-ache right now, I feel like I'm going to puke. Might be related to the stress.

...Or to end it. A lot of things, I don't really want to talk about it, but I appreciate your concern.

Totally understand. PM me if/when you are ready to talk.

Cold weather has been back for 3 days. Today I've come to the conclusion that I no longer want any more cold weather. Because it's cold.

Stop complaining. We have had it for the last 6 months just about.

Sort of strange. My GF gave me a hickey yesterday which I now have to hide beneath a turtleneck (I know, as Jackie from That '70s Show said, that's "a dead giveaway", but there's nothing else to cover it with).
Also, I screwed up a pedestal I have to make for tomorrow's arts lesson, which is why I had to rush to the DIY market and get some more stuff (rather pricey).
I shall use a measuring cup for the plaster this time in an attempt to get it done properly and dried overnight.
Strangely I feel rather optimistic about it, even though it went badly wrong last time. I guess I just feel better when I actually think I have a plan to follow. ^^

Ah, that sucks.... plus it takes a bit of time for it to go away :(

Anyway,

I got a history test in about 12 minutes.... sort of confident and scared at the same time.

It does suck, but I'm not upset. I tried my best at hiding it, nobody approached me about it so I guess it's alright.

Anyway, good luck with your test! 👍

^It's better than brutally hot weather!

And you're not even wrong! :D At least in the cold you can just start a fire.

Stop complaining. We have had it for the last 6 months just about.

But I like complaining... It's the only thing I can state I am good at and be telling the truth.

But it's not really the coldness, it's the fact that we've gone from the height of heat of the summer to the cold of winter in less than 5 days... The cold isn't bothering me now. I mean, today I went for a walk during my break... During a short thunderstorm... Was great!

Alright. Got the pedestal worked out, although I had to sacrifice a metal canister for it. Somebody approached me about the hickey, guess I couldn't hide it. Other than that, a normal day.

I've not really been bothered with the cold here, until I realised this...

My football team has a match every Saturday, as do many, and I've got used to playing in the cold. Now, last Saturday, it was about 15 degrees, so warmer than it has been by about 10. I was playing, and was feeling very hot, and sweating. If that's how I am at 15 degrees after the cold weather, I hope it doesn't get much warmer quickly. It needs to be gradual.

I felt really nostalgic today. Remembered my PHP programming days and people that were involved in that. It was 5 years ago, I went hard into PHP-Fusion CMS modding as a hobby back then, I was the Famine of Lithuanian PHP-F mods support site , I was really good at it and scripted a shedload of stuff, now I visited that support site after not having been on it for good 3 years, found out a lot of my stuff went out of date by now, though still used by many people. Many people who were active 5 years ago are now also gone but going again through the site was quite nice, I think I should get back into that hobby...

My day has been great! :) Glad spring is in the air. Nothing much happened today, just another day for me. However I had some glitch happen in GT5 were somehow I literally received every car/ticket I had ever gotten since I got the game and my car delivery was slammed with over 137 ticket/cars and I had to go through get them all! It was awesome! :D :dopey: Truthfully im keeping them!:D Guess I don't need to duplicate anything anymore.
