That's probably it. Right now I'm talking to her, and I think it's going well.

I forgot to mention that I was (still) skeptical about the part that she likes me.

Haha, I have a girlfriend and I'm still skeptical that she likes me.

Well I had a good day. It was my birthday (Woo!) and nobody noticed except for when I told them. Only one of my friends knew it was my birthday. I got a racing wheel for the first time in ages and I've got money. My parents where surprised at how I didn't want to eat out somewhere and how I didn't want a cake. Nothing really out of the ordinary today.

Happy Birthday!
What wheel did you get? :D

My day? It's fine I guess but I've been talking to a girl that I have no business doing so. Not that she has a crazy ex or shady background... I just need some drinks to forget this. My writing instructor won't grade my assignment so I have a D in the class.

I know what you mean.

A friend who I almost ended up in a relationship with sent me a "picture" of her last night, which is awesome. But I can't ever be with her so it's also a reminder of that fact, which is really not so awesome. At first I was like  but then I was like :guilty::( lol.

My day has been utter crap. In the morning, my bro and I got into an argument about him going to these parties and while I was exiting the compound, I wasn't paying attention and completely destroyed the rear-right quarterpanel on the van.

I was able to buff out the scratches, but the dent is worrying me. I have to see what I can do about it.

Well I couldn't get to talk to her, and by now she probably realized I'm an idiot.

Also I got hit in the head by a basketball.

Nice day huh?

I was going to work yesterday, and I saw a guy trying to move a lawn tractor that was stuck between a hill and a rockbed. Stopped and we were able to get it back up the hill. :D

Then he offered me a beer.
(Only 18, so it would be a no-no for driving.)

And today I got 651km out of my car, for an average of 42.5mpg! (Imp)
Really happy about that, turns out just driving a bit easier gets another 20% gas mileage.

Next goal is 700km before the light comes on, hopefully 50mpg eventually.

:D Got 2.8 out of a possible 3 marks on a college assignment with creative license. Yes, it involved Crazy Leo flipping his car, and me repairing it.

Learned ever more about Korea from my friends at the College, and found out that my headphones have better speakers than my mom's car, when a couple of the people in the class were complaining about being able to hear it. Oops.

I even got my Record of Employment from my previous employer, and can now receive the money I'm entitled to, to ensure that - even if I don't find work - I can finish college without any debt.

Wow! What car do you drive?

That's nice :D Start work debt-free and enjoy your first pay check.

Right. That dent in the rear-right quarter panel is still there. I know how to fix it, but I don't have a big enough suction cup :(
I've been using a plunger but that doesn't work out well because it only pops one side of the dent.

2007 Ford Focus, with the 2.0L 5 speed.:D

Try a GoPro suction cup mount if you can find/borrow one, they're supposed to be good at that sort of thing.

Nice. This 3.8L V6 in the Windstar will take about $40 a week. It's meant for big open roads, not small city streets

I saw a video on the GoPro trick. I'll have to check if it's sold here.

I wouldn't want to do a road trip with 5 people in my little car though.

Well someone in Toronto is bound to have one, seems like half the race grids have GoPros now.

Thing is, I'm in Latin America. They should have GoPro's here.

EDIT

I'll probably buy one when I go back for Christmas

Oh, but I see GTA and the Canadian flag.

?

Yeah. I live in Canada but I'm doing a Doctors Abroad type of thing in Latin America. My family decided to tag along.
On the left it says where I live. (I made this account in Canada)

Pretty meh. Going camping today though :)

Yesterday (few hours ago) was decent. Woke up at 5am dying of heat then passed back out until 2 :(. Later we had a small thunderstorm roll through and knocked out the power while I stupidly got in the shower before I had to leave. Left to get my tattoo touched up with a friend who got his priced etc.

Left for home, and on the way back I convinced him to put the pedal to the floor just to see what it would do. It's a heavy Buick Regal with a 3100 V6 so it was pretty gutless, especially with 140k on the odometer. Anyways we started to slow down and I turned around and the car was belching unbelievable amounts of white smoke. Absurd amounts. Since it had just rained, the initial thought was water somehow managed to get in the engine compartment and start steaming immensely when the temperature rose. I peered over at the temp gauge that went from cool and sky rocketed to hot. I immediately knew something wasn't right.

Slowed down and made it back to my place. Popped the hood and you got it, poof!! We let it steam off and at this point I could see and smell anti-freeze literally everywhere. All up on the hood, over the intake, on the distributor and coils, electronics etc. Turns out the heater core hose was dry rotted and a bit long, so when he stepped on it and the motor rocked it caught something and couldn't hold against it, and tore a 2 inch wide hole through it, emptying a 2.5 gallon anti-freeze tank in about 30 seconds to a minute.

At this point we sat their cleaning t all up with some shop rags he had in his car and wondering how we were going to fix it. We wiped down a lot of things as best we could but the main focus was to stop dripping from the hood and to clean the electronics off. Following that, we cut the tube end off and rigged it on to get him home to and from work for a few days until he can get it fixed. Filled the anti-freeze container with water to get by along with radiator fluid. After a close inspection it was determined the bottom radiator hose needs replacement along with both heater core hoses. We washed down the windshield as best we could and cleaned it up, let it run and burn off the excess etc. What an event.

So that was my day.

In a word, awesome!

Took the day off work for the International Air Display and spent a sunny and hot afternoon down by the beach drinking local cider and watching planes tart about in the sky. The F16s, Viggens and Red Arrows were all very well, but the highlight for me was the 3,000bhp, 18-cylinder Hawker Sea Fury. What a sound! As James May might say, it makes you 'fizz'. ;)

The girl I had issues with at work months ago got canned this morning. So I snagged her monitors and replaced the crappy ones I was using. Dual screen in 3840x1080 HD! :D

I'm glad snagging monitors isn't just limited to my place of work!

Friday the 13th has been yet another fantastic one.

Great day at work, and I recieved a mail saying that my copy of GTA V Collectors Edition was sent early this morning. :D

Friday 13th really wasn't unlucky.

All I done was go to school (Which is essentially spending hours in front of a screen "doing work"...) and played New Vegas when I got home. Also done a bit of Product Design work where we "Designed anything" so I'm 25% the way through a car after 2 hours...

This Saturday has been very good. Some really nice weather, and I've just been relaxing in it. Tonight will be a different story, I initially didn't want to work for tonight's gig, but I sort of have to because otherwise only one person is going to show up for setup and take down.

Watched RUSH...

So it was an amazing, joyous day where the sun was out and the birds sang their song.

T'was a good one. I got my driver's permit the other day, so now I'm a step closer to lugging myself to places instead of my parents, and also having the great privilege to drive in the first place!

Today was good. I finally finished my marathon of Ace Attorney cases. I had watched every trial in every game except for Ace Attorney: Investigations. I get my permit in a few days so I can get some driving practice. I also went looking at a house with my parents. We're already pre-approved and we placed a bid on the house. If all goes well, it should be ours in a few days. Then we've got to sell our current house. That means I've got to clean EVERYTHING! It's no easy task because I've collected toy cars for about 12 years and their scattered around. I think I have an insane amount of toy cars. You could say it is...Over 9000! Anyway, my sister who can drive and is 7 years older than me hasn't returned home very many times in the past 3 weeks. She was kicked out today. My parents are also taking her car and her house key. Eventful days all week. At least it's not painfully boring.
