A challenging day but at the same time a terrible day. It started as a normal day at school - doing preparation for our Engineering Drawing project presentation tomorrow. On the way back to school, I left my bag inside the school compound because I'm afraid it could rain. When I got back to the gate only to found it's been locked! I have to walk around 1.5 to 2 km back uphill to the main gate, get the bag and walk back to the lower gate. Ridiculous!

When I got home, as usual I have to do Power Point presentation stuff and here I am now posting and hanging out in GTP.

Pretty bad. Been home nursing our youngest boy who has a fever. Only problem is I'm ill too with the same thing. He slept for 1.5 hours midday and I couldn't even bring myself to start up GT5.

Well, it's still early, but I just got out of my Hot Tub while using my Wireless Mini Keyboard to control my laptop that was hooked up to a 45" TV hanging on the wall above the hot tub. I was watching Scrubs Season 3 on Netflix while looking through the forums in another window.
So far I'd say its going pretty great.
I figure I'll take advantage of my parents house allot more than usual since I'm leaving for the USCG in a few months.

I'm gonna miss this place.

Spent 6-7 hours measuring a 350m distance to find the coordinates of points with one of these:

GPT-3000_stor.jpg

We calculated that over a 350m distance, an error of 0,009m was allowed.

How did it go?

The error turned out to be 0,612m. Looks like we'll have to measure the entire track again :grumpy:

Great day, brought some friends who doubted my driving ability over to my house and did a 33.769 around Rome, live:D

Apart from that, my crush turned out to be to busy. I couldn't get a chance to properly chat with her:(

Pretty good, that's if you don't include getting an extremely massive cut on your finger that is really deep and having to hold your finger under water for ages to keep it from getting infected. And then having a friend act like a pratt because I used the file HE was using, when there was another one RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM.

Yeah I know, this isn't actually that bad, but still, I need to rant about my day

Then that same friend goes and hangs out with his weed buddy, and I have to put up with fatty talking and following me for 40 minutes. And the grand finale finding out I got every question wrong on my Science test which is putting me into cabbage Science... Man, it's a lot, but yeah, that means my day's been pretty sweet aye. ;)

Our maths teacher didn't give us any homework.
I'm positive that the apocalypse is coming now :nervous:

Listening to the MPod3 at school, rocking out until 6:30 when my students show up for class. Spent the whole day reading the rumble strip and will go home tonight to watch a movie/play GT with the misses. Not a bad day in all.

so far, got a but wet on my way to work as i decided to walk and it stated raining, nicely dried off now tho and doing ticket quality spot checks for our team/department, then when thats done i've to check access for 3 co-workers to one of the platforms we use, problem is this platform has 16 sub systems so to speak and i have to check each one individually, a bit repetitive but has to be done, then i've to go check make sure that all our 130+ documentation and update any that have reached their sunset date. Finally, if i'm lucky i might get time to edit my 2.0 advanced photo for this weeks comp

^^ all the above needs done when i'm still live to deal with support calls and emails...erm yeah, roll on 7pm

after work will be filled with some GT5, tv and CoD!

Ahaha, great day! Went to school with a clear piece of mind, nothing serious running through my mind that could ruin my day. The presentation went flawlessly - also awarded for being among the three best presenter! Before the end of school I had a good chat with a girl classmate. Rarely talk to her and that time was great to spend around half an hour talking about our projects...

My History tuition class went very well and now I'm going to enjoy some lamb for late dinner. Overall, a very great and prouctive day and I'm very happy :)

^ :ouch:

Anyway, rather decent day for me. Not too much going, but I started a workout today and immediately feel the muscle I used to have before:D

today ended on a high, home from a busy day from work to find my NHL Ducks jersey arrived today (after waiting 5 weeks) and its payday for me in 90 mins time, been 5 weeks since i last got paid so getting my wages again will feel so damn good, it also a months wages + 3 month bonus i'm getting :D

Wasn't that bad. There was some very angering moments -had my lock stolen off my locker at school- 20 minutes out of foods class to get a new lock from the school office :grumpy:. There was another thing but I cannot discuss it. Now I am feeling a lot better now, just relaxing.

Had to sprint to catch the early train home and barely made it. And have to short essays to complete :indiff:

Days disappear. They're all the same, so one sentence sums it all up

Same S:censored:t, different day

Today was pretty nice. Got a nice score on the test I took today, and got out of school early.

I had a great day. The OSSLT Grade 10 Literacy Test was easy! And our teacher gave us donuts after we finished. I have no homework, everything is sunshine and rainbows, birds are singing...Happy day for me!

I passed the OSSLT by writing an essay about how much of a waste of time and money it is.

A waste of time and money indeed. I wrote a persuasive essay on how extracurricular activities are not a necessary part of a secondary school students time in high school. 150 minutes of my life I'll never, ever get back.

Good and bad. The good is that our school had a half day today. The bad is that I think I might be getting strep throat :(.

Essentially, as an American, I'd like to ask what an OSSLT is.

.....

My day was okay, I mean most days are fine lately, I couldn't even be thrown off by getting an F on a topography science lab. It was all cause me and my partner were working together, and I had a 22/30 (not stellar) and she had a 20/30, but 2 answers on the back of the sheet were the same, yet right for me and wrong for her. So I ask my teacher and he goes "oh yeah, you forgot the compass directions. Here's your F."

Life's weird.

OSSLT stands for the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test. You have to pass the test as its a requirement for graduating. It is run by the EQAO (Education Quality and Accountability Office, affiliated with the provincial government), who also put in place the Grades 3 and 6 English and Mathematics tests, and the Grade 9 Mathematics test. These tests don't help you in anyway at all, you can't go to your employer and state you got 90 percent on the test and get a promotion. So it's absolutely pointless, and a waste of tax-payers money.

Boring. Boring and more boredom. Come home, look at my gallery and find comments, MADE MY DAY, I LOVE PEOPLE SAYING THINGS ABOUT MY PHOTOS 👍 👍 👍 👍 What, there's a face there instead of thumbs, it's awesome, this needs to actually stay as a smiley because it's awesome
