1) Be rich.
2) Start racing off your own money.
3) Get some good results.
4) Approach local businesses, talk to people in the paddock about minor sponsors.

Something along the lines of that.
Ok. But I have doubts about the race procedure: Will the championships organizers be accepting my real racing car without sponsors on my first race?

@DaxCobra
Good luck in that race and in your career

Alright. Then how can I attract sponsors properly?
>Be really good
>Have a gazillion dollars and be sort of good

Choose one

Chill man, it's all in the drawing board right now.

The real world of motorsport is very different to how you picture it. That's all I can say to you.

Dax this is all your fault.

Congratulations man good luck!

Almost 3 months since my last update...

Anyway.

The MX5 Owners Club had their National Rally today so we had a stand up to show off the car and introduce us, the drivers. Here are a few pictures from the event...

9 weeks to go...

Like I tell little Lefty, It's sacrifice, dedication, and preparation. You can beat half the pack by having a better prepared car so that only leaves the other half to deal with on race day.

I just started splashing around w/ pylon racing in my 90 Miata as I prepare my 91 to do closed course racing next year like your doing. Best of luck 👍
