We've seen the teasers of the supposedly new "Official Wheel". What's your take on it and are you gonna buy it?

It's probably going to be prohibitively expensive, plus I really enjoy driving with my DFGT, I just don't see any point to upgrading it other than to piss off my wife for spending the money. ;)

I dont think I will. Theres nothing wrong with my G25 yet and given the price I payed it wouldnt make sence. Also I once had a Thrustmaster Joystick for the PC and it wasnt up to much. A bit Brittle and plasticy. Been a Logitech bod ever since really. Nothing Logitech I bought has ever broken. Ok I dont hammer the wheel for 10hours a day like some but its serving me good now. The reviews on the wheel will be Interesting I guess. I know its a GT special But whats its Equivilent on the PC. Maybe see what the PC gamers think about it first?

I don't know, first I need to see some reviews. At the moment I have a DFGT.

EDIT:

Holy #%&$

Ok, it's pricey. I need to know if it will include a H shifter and clutch.

My 'common sense' gene tingles when I think about spending $500 on a Thrustmaster wheel... that's not a good sign.

I don't think I'm going to spend that kind of money on another wheel while my G27 is still functioning. Also, given the companies reputation, I want to see how good it actually ends up being before giving it a thought.

Still though, it's always exciting to have a new wheel come out, it's sure been a while.

I will need to see reviews. Im excited about the prospect of a new official wheel but its going to have to be something spectacular to get me to drop my GT3RSv2 and clubsport pedals.

Nope - Fanatec Turbo S for me... besides, if Kaz is involved it will take another few years to get released and they will forget to include something like the brake pedal, but it will look REALLY nice.

I agree with this comment it will look really nice... Thrustmaster sure makes some crap. But it looks awesome/sick! LOL

No need for a new thread. This question could be asked in the official thread.
