To which understanding of toe do you subscribe?

  • Toe out - # in front, + # in rear/ Tor in + # in front, - # in rear

I know a lot of people out there are frustrated  :banghead: with the toe setting issue in GT4 (i.e. toe out/in = + or -? Front and/or rear discrepancies? etc.) so I thought it would be a good idea đź’ˇ to have all the discussion/debate focused in one convenient thread so that whoever is on the fence (like me) can come here, listen to each side, and maybe, just maybe, come to a final conclusion for themselves. đź‘Ť

I have included the poll to see where the majority of gtp members stand so that if I am still unable to decide a week from now I will force myself to take solace in the majority opinion. ;)

Of course, PD could've made this discussion unnecessary by making a tiny bit more of an effort to explain what the setting values actually mean in the "Settings" screen, but no, that is not the way of Kaz and Company.

Then again, if they made a programming error and borked the chassis setting controls, they would want to keep things vague, wouldn't they?

r_master, this issue is never "solved" ...until PD releases an official press release somewhere that gives a clear answer to this question the best we can do is see who's evidence is most credible. And Greyout, I think a fresh thread on this wont hurt. I also wanted to see where the majority stood on this, hopefully we get some votes soon.

ZoomZoom - the only car I have in my garage that seemed to react to alignment settings is the S2000, and if I recall, my findings agree with yours. Have you tested any other cars?
