i have some questions
1. which car has the most rpm
2. is there anyway at all to use 7th gear
3. when is the horsepower over the edge
4. whats the widest you can set the gearbox

Assuming you're talking about GT3 hybrids...

1. which car has the most rpm

F1 (P001 or F094/S)

No, although you can set reverse as a low negative value and use it as a 7th gear, there is no gearbox which will shift into 7th.

3. when is the horsepower over the edge

Edge of what?

4. whats the widest you can set the gearbox

You can hybrid in any value you want from 0.001 to 255.

(horsepower) edge of control
(gearbox) i meant so much it makes it go fast but not too much to make it not run at all
(another question) how do u set the gears to a negitive value

(horsepower) edge of control

I'd advise keeping it under 10,000.

If you have 10,000hp, you can set the gearbox to whatever you want and it'll still accelerate.

Export the car to an .ini file...

My site
In mk's programme, select the appropriate car, then select File, Export Car, then name the file and save it.

Open the .ini file in notepad.

Go to line 240 (the Reverse gear setting) and change it to a positive number which is lower than 6th gear is negative.

So if 6th (line 264) is -0.780, change reverse (line 240) to something like 650.

Save the file. Import it back to your garage:

My site
To import a car BACK into mk's after playing with the ini, highlight the slot you want the car to go into (usually the car you exported in the first place), go to File, Import Car and pick the right file.

The positive value you put (assuming 650) in the .ini file will change to a negative value (for this example, -0.649) in the GT3gEdit garage.

Now, when you reach the top of 6th gear, simply hit reverse.

What do you mean by "it didn't work right"? I can only diagnose problems if I know what the problem IS.

Yes, I grasped that part. I'm asking what exactly didn't work. There's a number of things that can go wrong and without basic information about what your precise problem is, I can't tell you what it is that has gone wrong.

Imagine phoning up a PC helpdesk and telling them that your "computer doesn't work".

on the gt3edit thing it didn't display a negitive number
in the game it didn't go faster

"it"?

You need to describe everything you did, step-by-step (and don't just go "i did what you told me an it dint work").

Also, tell me precisely what appears in the R Gear cell for the car.

Change the .ini file so that line 240 reads EXACTLY this:

240=650

Save, import again, save garage and try again.
