I was making a custom race against the AI a moment ago, and I planned to use my Vulcan against other N800 cars, at the Nurburgring Nordschleife. But I only saw the available Fuel/Tire consumption rates go up to 3x - I thought it was typically higher than this, was there a bug or something here?

In addition to my question, I also had something I wanna share! If you are making an endurance race in a lobby, here were my "conversions" for if you want to replicate endurance events from older GT games. Keep in mind I've rounded everything up, too. For some events, I also took some creative liberties to make things a bit more interesting, and/or to adapt events that featured circuits not in GT Sport at the moment.

-Gran Turismo 4:
Super Speedway 150 Miles - 282 laps @ Northern Isle Speedway
Suzuka 1000km - 173 laps @ Suzuka
Roadster 4h Endurance - 2hrs @ Tsubuka, one-make /w/ Mazda Roadster ND.
Tsubuka 9hr Endurance - 3hrs @ Tsubuka, limited to N300.
1000 Miles!*
Tokyo R246 300km - 69 laps @ Tokyo Expressway (Central Loops), or 42 laps @ Tokyo Expressway (East Loops)

Note: For some GT4 endurance events (New York, El Capitan, and Laguna Seca), they lasted 200 miles, which is 322km rounded up. Similarly, the events for Grand Valley and Tokyo R246 went for 300km, which is 187 miles, also when rounded up. While none of these courses are available in GT Sport, one may want to keep these metrics in mind if you'd like to host a similar event on a different course.

* For this one, I'm hoping one can make custom championships where you can host multiple races, not necessarily one immediately after another, as a championship. In which case, I would change the races to the following: 21 laps @ Nurburgring 24h, 58 laps @ Monza (/w/ chicane), 51 laps @ Alsace Village, and 35 laps @ Circuit de la Sarthe (no chicane). If the option also permits, I would also limit it to all N-series cars from before 1990. I know the original GT4 event said 1970 and earlier, but given GT Sport's current car list, I think making 1990 the cut-off would make the potential field more interesting than using the same 1970 cut-off. (That said, I'm not sure what actual N-class to use that would also be as inclusive as possible. I'm mostly thinking N300 or N400...)

-(Gran Turismo 5's endurance events were pretty much the same as in GT4, so I skipped listing 'em here.)

-Gran Turismo 6:
Willow Springs 20 miles - 82 laps @ Big Willow, limited to N700
Suzuka Circuit 10-lap challenge - 86 laps @ Suzuka Circuit, limited to Gr.2
Brands Hatch 15-lap challenge - 127 laps @ Brands Hatch GP, limited to Gr.2
Nurburgring 24 minutes - 2hrs @ Nurburgring 24h, limited to Gr.3
Le Mans 24 minutes - 2hrs @ Circuit de la Sarthe, limited to Gr.1

I’m pretty sure the x3 thing at the ‘Ring is due to the fact you Wouldn’t be able to complete a lap if the fuel consumption was any higher
